Hubble Reveals Rogue Planetary Orbit for Fomalhaut b
Newly released Hubble Space Telescope images of a vast debris disk encircling the nearby star Fomalhaut, and of a mysterious planet circling it, may provide forensic evidence of a titanic planetary disruption in the system.

Impressive log of interplanetary pinball.
Looks like the Solar system was relatively sedate with only Saturn & Neptune showing any obvious evidence of gas giant zone large body impacts.
Saturn in this case posessing a Methane/ammonia/organics condensation zone disc master moon in line with the tilted axis inner predominantly water ice satellite system, with the largest outermost. Neptune in this case being a dense (much denser than Uranus) agglomerate of lots of comet nuclei during the last great bombardment stage.
In the inner solar system the earth and Mecury show evidence of inner solar system cannonball type impacts (Earth generating a large moon out of a debris ring which would have looked like the Avatar pic; and Mercury having gone "splat" leaving only the core, inner mantle and an elliptical orbit).
It appears that in the case of fomalhaut, the planetary disc is much more dusty than the solar system disc and this has created a rather large number of potential pinballs for Fomalhaut to play with.
Happy hunting guys.
