CRMC looking to upgrade da Vinci robot
The da Vinci robot at Cookeville Regional Medical Center has had a number of problems during the past year, causing delays with a few surgeries.

An upgrade is indeed needed for these surgical system. I think the problems will continue if the machine is not upgraded. I have also read some of the articles about the da Vinci online and at http://www.davincilawsuit.us which made me think twice of going through a surgical procedure using the machine. It still needs more trials and test runs before experts say that it is safe.
