First look at the available engines and the languages you need to learn to use them.
Then decide what type of game coder you want to be.
For graphics intensive games learn c++, c.
On apple hardware you'll have to learn objective c.
I wouldn't use c# for games. Python is a good first language and general programming language. Check out the game engine called panda3d for python.
