This is kind of obvious - so OSS programmers must do a better job than private ones. But they are supposed to solicit peer review, getting many minds focussed on the problem.
The article says that OSS software is attacked ONLY 3 DAYS before closed-source software. That, I find surprising.

Bullshit! just as soon as an exploit is made for a quality open source application, a patch will be made.

Open source programs are in constant development, so the brain dead software wreckers will only be able to cause problems if they can find a dead project.

Open Source offers open code for all and this gives way to developers and hackers, it is how you take it, always have two sides of a coin but always developers have solution to a problem.
