Don't you dare joke about our sacred cow!

We've sacrificed our last borrowed dime to bet on this boondoggle (fingers crossed, fingers crossed!)

Don't even think of making some sarcastic comment about us having our "head in the clouds." We are just too darn sensitive for that kind of thing.

You may think that this is a big waste of the taxpayer's money, used to finance the construction of infrastructure necessary for billionaires to profit from our investment, but we know that if we click our heels together and keep repeating, "There's no place like home," for long enough, then our dreams of middle-class prosperity will eventually come true! Billy Richardson said so.

I thought the voters of New Mexico voted down the spaceport bill. Or was that vote for Otero county?

Sierra County overwhelmingly voted yes.
Dona Ana County squeeked by with a yes.
Otero rejected.

Why is it that the vociferous population of Elephant Butt seems to support this so project so vigorously, when everyone else in the state seems to be able to see right through the deception?

Tonight's 5:30 & 10:00 news, TV 13, KRQE's Larry Barker is doing an investigative report on Bill Richardson. He better do the alleged "Pay-to-Play" Spaceport deals, too.

They should also expose his $75,000 "contribution", direct from the Richardson For President campaign (that ended, and his debts for the campaign were not paid off before giving the spaceport contribution). The media budget was approximately $100,000. Didn't Bill do a nice job on those postage delivered DVD's, shiney cardstock multi-colored door brochures - hand delivered by proselytizing paid "workers" of People For Aerospace?

(a "company" that didn't have an official business status and didn't take employee taxes from employees' paychecks - though required employees to complete all the required employment forms upfront, including W-2);

And, of course, the trip(s) for Bill to come to T or C.

Things I would like to know: does the rockets burn holes in the O zone when traveling through it? will the space port adhear to the carbon foot print and will cap and trade tax be applied? and lastly will Al Gore be here in NM to say this project will contribute to global warming(oops)climate change?

Al Gore invente the ozone, what are you talking about. He's a genius in his own mind. The spaceport project is BS. Another way for very rich people to make more money. Thank your governor, reprs and senators for letting this happen with the money you don't have. T or C is happy because anything that pumps money into that shithole is good business. What a waste of taxpayer money. Maybe the spaceport is Noah's Ark for the rich. With the end of 2012 coming fast, these bastards better hurry. It's the spaceport to the noah's ark up in space where rich people will wait until after the apocalypse.

Not all of T or C is happy. In fact, there has been no "pump[ing] of money into that shithole." It's cost us and there has been no benefit. "That shithole" as you refer to us has as its leaders murderous barbers...we believe in pie in the sky somedays that will never come.

Meanwhile we sit in the sun and rot and debate whether a police officer who is the son of a judge can impregnate 15 year old girls who he met while on duty.

It's a good thing that space is really cold, because the $pacePork has spent $200 million but forgot the air conditioner. It's an oven outside and inside, with nooooo relief unless you spend $200K and hop a spaceship ride. What, not ready yet? They're 5 years late already!! Heck of a price for a little chill.

If the original ticket purchasers had put that money into derivatives, they'd have $1 million by now, all based upon the suffering of foreclosed homes nad purloined pensions. What an opportunity they have missed. Suckers!

If the $pacePork is so advanced a place, why aren't there solar panels? The really bored security guards could be making them!

Has this spacepipe dream yielded any jobs for new mexico yet? I'm talking for the people of nm, not transplants from virgin galactic? Maybe we need to make a landing place for all of the ufo sightings. Thinking a temple or something would be sufficient. If u build it they will come ... Or not

Richardson sold all Americans out in pushing NAFTA for 20 Million dollars or something of that nature. How is it legal for someone in public office to make profits off of deals like NAftA or the SpacePipe Dream?

People gotta wake up and start holding these crooked politicians accountable and put them in jail for abuse of power.
