Hi everyone !
I would like to draw your attention to the Nanochallenge and Polymerchallenge 2012 - an international business plan competition aimed at identifying and supporting the best, most innovative nanotechnology and polymers startups around the world.
The competition is organised by Intesa Sanpaolo (Italy's largest bank), Veneto Nanotech (the Italian Cluster of Nanotechnology) and IMAST (the Campania-based Technological District on Polymeric and Composite materials). Each challenge offers the chance to win a €300,000 cash and services award.
In addition, for all the shortlisted startups there is the opportunity to take part in a unique end-to-end program that will include the following additional benefits:
Access to an international Investor Roadshow covering European and worldwide locations such as London, Frankfurt, Paris, New York, San Francisco.
Widespread media coverage.
Mentoring services and dedicated support / training services offered by Silicon Valley investors Maverick Angels.
Access to a wide network of partners (business incubators, software corporations, science parks, business coaches) providing key services and resources.
The competition is free and entries can be submitted by registering on the challenge website. Please note that the deadline for submissions is 19 July 2012 (15 days left !)
More information about the challenge can be found on the challenge website:
I would be happy to answer any question you might have and would be most grateful if you could forward this to your friends, members or anyone you think might be interested in participating.
Thank you in advance !

I just wanted to remind you of the deadline for the Nanochallenge & Polymerchallenge 2012 I posted about earlier. If anyone is interested in participating, please submit your Executive Summary before 19 July on the challenge website : www.nanochallenge.com . Then, the best teams with the most promising projects will be evaluated by a Concept Jury Committe. In phase 2, the selected teams will be asked to submit their Business Plan. Business experts will help each team in drafting their BP.
To apply for this competition, a team must have at least 2 people representing the actual or expected Chief : the Executive Officer (CEO) and the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of the venture presented in the Business Plan.
Let me know if you have any question about the challenge :)
