Investors fear PC industry has built too much inventory in anticipation of Windows 7. Nearly all chip and equipment companies that reported their third quarter earnings this week breezed past analysts’ estimates. However, investors got the cold feet after AMD commented in its post-earnings conference call that it expects Q4 revenue to grow less than the normal seasonal growth due to “the big build we’ve seen of PCs in anticipation of the Win 7 launch.” http://electronics.wesrch.com/pdfEL1GP9JS8YBF...
