Steps to fix the sign-in error 80048820-80048412 for Windows Live Messenger

hello friends
there are only a few causes to this problem:
1.firewall is blocking messenger from signing in - try turning it off and signing in. or review permissions for WLM acess to the internet.
2. check that both your date, time and year are ALL correct

Make sure the windows time and date are correct..this is the main source of this error.. i dont know how this is linked, but make sure ur date and time are right..

Right guys!!
Check ur system calendar don't just rush to things, make sure date is up-to-date (that means DD/MM/YYYY) is ok. That really means a lot in this prob, once done that's you!!!

Oh, I have never been so fustrated in all my life. I went through the most complicated crap that I could tihnk of to fix this problem. I almost resorted to Tech support when I realized that month day and time were all right...but the YEAR was wrong!!

As soon as I put back 2007 it worked perfectly. MSN you are so Anal.
