Most of that spent no doubt on jet fuel and teams of advisors making several hundred dollars and hour for thier time and other BK related expenses. Oh and labor. What will be they blame next year after the BK.

Toad you are just jealous (smile). I remember years ago when Delta had issues You guys did not "roll" as you call it. You whined and sniveled and complained when the company was going to eliminate pensions etc. I have friends who are Delta flight attendents, maintenance and rampers and my own sister works for Delta even when she worked at Western. My lord you guys whined. That is how you "rolled" back then

"Delta's Greed Helps Shut Down The FAA".

"You probably donít know that another act of hostage-taking by Republicans is underway. They have shut down the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to help Delta Airlines in its battle to keep its workers from voting in a union. This is costing the government $200 million a week, more than 4,000 FAA employees have been furloughed, and as many as 87,000 construction workers and other contractors around the country are being laid off. The agency has been shut down for more than a week and so far the Republicans have refused to let it open before Congress leaves town for the summer. All this apparently so one company can keep employees who want a union from winning an election"
Yeah thats how you roll..........

That was all just a bunch of LIES! We worked with management and they have rewarded us later for our honorable sacrifice for the common good of the wonderfully benevolent institution called Delta! We work together....something YOU "union" people will NEVER understand.

The greedy unions at AA worked with management. In 2 weeks time back in 2003 the greedy unions gave life altering concessions in pay and work rules. Then CEO Don Carty celebrated by giving his top managers millions in a bonus. That was his last decision made as AMR CEO, the bonuses were not taken. More bonuses have been taken over the years of "share the pain, share the gain." Lots of pain for the rank and file, lots of gain for the execs. Maybe the AA greedy unions would be less greedy if they were dealing with a management team they could trust.

I think it is time to show Mr. Horton the door. Anyone who is in charge of a company that loses over 2 billion dollars in three months needs to be fired.

That's just a "typical" union excuse! YOUR "unions" ran those poor execs into Bankruptcy! Now Delta gets the "spoils"! If your "union" you are gone! If you are pro AA soon to be Delta you could sing our "song"! We will still welcome you once you get rid of those thugish unions!

Funny you should mention "Song", whatever became of that? I just posted on a different thread, but shall repeat it here. You are anti union, and that's ok. Except for repeating that fact, you actually make no valid points, so I am finished responding to you. I feel it is unfair to have a battle of wits with an unarmed opponent.
