i'm on linux and have been using offline rss reader liferea for ages. i was using greader pro (google reader) on android for months before quitting a cupla months ago. as a news junkie i don't really miss google reader cuz it doesn't offer anything different except reading my feeds online.

i was hoping that google killed its advertising biz cuz the ads annoy me to no end (they even loaded before the content i wanna see) but that would be asking too much of it :)
