thats not a breakthrough!its the same electronic theory echoed last year in australia confirming the ancient theory of Moores law using equipment!its already done worldwide by most ultra sophisticated and expensive high tech factories in japan to europe.unfortunately they cost $$$$ that no one would dare invest on for next 10 years.
if australia says they see a working model in 5 years..then they should do it in 5 that it can be done with their own financing instead of cheap mission impossible talks that they cant pay the bill.
as said below by researcher:
Morello said :
“Our technology is fundamentally the same as is already being used in countless everyday electronic companies, and that’s a trillion-dollar industry,” he said.
The next step is a fully functioning model of which is likely still to be five to 10 years off.

and you cant patent and claim $$$$$ for that "breakthru" because it had already been made decades ago by Moores law!
trying to say this is a breakthru is like trying to demonstrate newtons law of motion not by using an apple but a roo instead!
they all obey that law and that is already someones else work done decades ago and not an australian work.

if theres trillions of dollars to be made...why isnt australia building factories for these technology instead of imagining and wishing about machines that can be built outa it?
u could build these factories and create meaningful high tech jobs with a trillion dollars in australia instead of writing science fiction books with it!
currently there is no country that can do it because the costs are too expensive.you can build an aircraft carrier the size of tasmania too but its too expensive to build.
until australia finds a way to build it faster and better dont expect any $$$$$ coming its way as the breakthrough isnt really a breakthrough!its just a confirmation of ancient moores law on electronics.

Science, the government, government schools and mass media, promote anything with the word,"quantum", in it, as a way to destroy the power of the religious vote.
Those with power hate sharing it and science is just a pawn in their game.
