Not that I have any sympathy for pedophiles, but my poor toothless git from Henderson County does not understand our Constitution's provisions about ex post facto laws, or the laws of statutory construction.

I was thinking a big bulls eye on his chest and then sell pervert supporting hunting tickets. And thats for the liberal judge. They should just cut the offenders nuts off with a dull knife.

I'm with you! His third offense? A 7 year old? Come on. I'm exasperated with our system. ;( He shouldn't be wearing anything but cuffs and a lot of other jailed perverts on his butt! Pile 'em up weekly like we do dogs in this country, then euthanize 'em! Geeze. Too painless but at least gone!!

If we can't put a GPS on him then, can we cut off his willie and stitch it to his forehead so everyone knows he's a pedifile????

Actually the NC State Legislature passed legislation stating that sex offenders could be forced to wear monitoring devices as part of the original sentence. The statutes clearly dictate prison followed by GPS monitoring. Personally I'd like to see the GPS monitoring devices replaced with a life without parole sentence. From what I have read there are only about 120 actual candidates for this monitoring out of thousands of folks convicted of this perversion. These creatures have been shown to be repeat offenders who have raped children. Lock them up and throw away the key because they will not stop this behavior.

You poor goofy bitcX, the statute which permits a judge to require a convicted sex offender to wear a GPS bracelet was not expressly retroactive against sex offenders convicted before the legislation was passed.

You and many of the eejits howling and screeching here make the best arguments I ever heard for a Constitutional Republic which protects civilized society from the sudden clamors and distempers of the masses, and laws and lawyering against the rabble such as yourself. Dayyum. I know critters that walk on all fours that have better sense than yahoos like you.

Buncy, I understand the law. However, judgement should always fall in favor of the victim, not the criminal. We owe it to children who have never been harmed by a pervert, rapist or a molester to keep them innocent. We sure as hell owe those who have been victimized by such trash and made it through something.

Dont bray too loudly until youve walked a mile in their (the victim/survivor) shoes.

Jeezusss, you just don't know. Many of us were damaged as children. I don't know about my father but my mother was born in another culture, near the Russian border and as a young child she was abducted. Luckily she was found alive, but not before she had been horribly brutalized. It marked her and damaged her for the rest of her life.

Some of the things that happened to me and my brothers as children are so unspeakable, it's impossible to even think about, and certainly not to be spoken of.

Nonetheless, the law must be followed. If people do not obey the law, and act as vigilantes, then our society will disintegrate and we have anarchy.

I am with you on the priorities of victims, though. Speak to your lawmakers. They listen.

Judges and attorneys and legislators who empathize with the perverts are just as guilty as the perverts.

Lenient sentencing should be a capital offense. I'm sure it is in God's eyes.

"What you have done to the least of these you have done to me" makes that pretty clear.

I feel we are getting VERY close to a vigilante state because of these decisions. Maybe THAT will work. Nothing else seems to. After a couple of 'em get tortured to death by some victims' ticked off family members there will be a decrease in the number of assaults...

Name us the judges and legislators who "empathize" with pedophiles. Do you even know what that word "empathy" means?

Buncy has never indicated he believes in pedophilia. He only states his beliefs in following the laws. Stop it.

Convicted of hurting a child. Death! That way we don't have to worry about him molesting another baby.

We need the laws changed on this. Buncy, where do we start?

We certainly do. IMO, child molesters cannot be rehabilitated. That is just my opinion. When released from prison, they are just as much a danger then as they were before.

When a child is molested or raped, it takes away their innocence forever.

In this day and age, not many people have the cajones to use the death penalty. I would have no such qualms.
