The problem is clearly identified as weight gain by the pharmacutical products. The mind drugs is the leading cause with some kids gaining 30 To 50 Pounds within two weeks of taking the mind drugs. Diabetic drugs and insulin cause the same problem in weight gain.

The children have long been a target of the falsehood of the mental health industry who have no science and are based on hearsay. The children in the school systems are their political targets since the Republican Reagan/Bush presidency.

Children are not "obese" because "junk' food.
1. its genetic.
2. Its to much seeting in school and then home in front TV or now Lap Top / Computer games.
Food is food. Kids must eat diferent foods for body to find what it needs. Having to much sweet drinks is not advisable. But then, perants should be in charg.
But to put them on some diet, you might find children will feel as if anadiquid, low estim, no goodnics, or such fillings of regection.
Be cerfule when talking to kids about "FAT"
Only chaing of life stile can be beneficial.
But then, it means perants must be aware, be alert, be present. and thats another topick.

read up on weight gain and pharmacutical drugs. The mind drugs that are being pushed in the school systems based on the no science mental health industry is the major cause of weight gain.

The kids and people using these drugs are then being punished for the excessive weight gain and placed into restrictive programs and many healthcare insurance policies increase by the pound. So does the airfare for traveling.

Can't say much to the doctor or you'll be dropped as a patient if you don't do as told and worse yet is the private communication they have in the Electronic Medical Records that you will never get to see.

Best to say nothing to the doctor .  Be caution in the doctors wanting to do blood tests as a fishing pole for nonexistant illnesses or as a maintance procedure. Always research the medication but remember that your doctor can drop you if you dont do as he states. Therefore, I would throw burn the medication. Do not throw in the trash because of water polution. If the doctor wants to check up on you with various test as to taking the medication get rid of him and find someone else. I have seen pages on the web (vital) that indirectly speak of doctor patient happenings that can help'you make a decision on a new doctor.

Human geneticists have reached a private crisis of conscience, and it will become public knowledge in 2010. The crisis has depressing health implications and alarming political ones

The Economist

Human geneticists have reached a private crisis of conscience, and it will become public knowledge in 2010. The crisis has depressing health implications and alarming political ones. In a nutshell: the new genetics will reveal much less than hoped about how to cure disease, and much more than feared about human evolution and inequality, including genetic differences between classes, ethnicities and races.

About five years ago, genetics researchers became excited about new methods for “genome-wide association studies”(GWAS). We already knew from twin, family and adoption studies that all human traits are heritable: genetic differences explain much of the variation between individuals. We knew the genes were there; we just had to find them. Companies such as Illumina and Affymetrix produced DNA chips that allowed researchers to test up to 1m genetic variants for their statistical association with specific traits. America’s National Institutes of Health and Britain’s Wellcome Trust gave huge research grants for gene-hunting. Thousands of researchers jumped on the GWAS bandwagon. Lab groups formed and international research consortia congealed. The quantity of published GWAS research has soared.

In 2010, GWAS fever will reach its peak.

Dozens of papers will report specific genes associated with almost every imaginable trait—intelligence, personality, religiosity, sexuality, longevity, economic risk-taking, consumer preferences, leisure interests and political attitudes. The

data are already collected, with DNA samples from large populations already measured for these traits. It’s just a matter of doing the statistics and writing up the papers for Nature Genetics. The gold rush is on throughout the leading behaviour-genetics centres in London, Amsterdam, Boston, Boulder and Brisbane.

GWAS researchers will, in public, continue trumpeting their successes to science journalists and Science magazine. They will reassure Big Pharma and the grant agencies that GWAS will identify the genes that explain most of the variation in heart disease, cancer, obesity, depression, schizophrenia, Alzheimer’s and ageing itself. Those genes will illuminate the biochemical pathways underlying disease, which will yield new genetic tests and blockbuster drugs. Keep holding your breath for a golden age of health, happiness and longevity.

They simply have not been delivering the goods
