Hmm...US hacking academic network. That can't be anything to do with counter-terrorism. More like stealing research and other intellectual properties.

To be frank, monitor in usa or any other country is not a mystery. Everyone knows that.
from cool war beginning, since 50's last century, last today, we can read this news on papers or tv sets all the way. it does not strike us as odd. So do this event.

The indignation of our politicians caused by Snowden's departure from Hong Kong is a laughable demonstration of their arrogance. "There will be consequences" they said in their most stern voices to which the whole world responded with a collective shrug. There indeed will be consequences. Perhaps it is better to use Huawei routers after all. When will the emperor himself realize, as the world already does, that he has no clothes on.
