Fleeing the typoon will not ease the hardship which many have to experience during any typhoon, especially the needy. A Christian country is supposed to PRAY for God's deliverance, but we do not see many do that anymore. For some with huge houses, the super typhoon is just a calamity and not a worry. How SUPER it is, we do not know yet, but let us pray harder this time. It may be the end of the world for some people or some may take it seriously and really pray for a change. It is never to early or too late !

For all those who have put God aside, a Super Typhoon may just as well be the end of the world. It is a day or two of self examination....it is a day when God shows the world that he has had enough from mankind. The U.S. A. never had anything in the past more horrible than the recent SUPER TYPHOON and she suffered unthinkable destruction to the rich and poor. Perhaps it is time many Filipinos will realize that they have been remiss towards him for so long and this time a (lil spanking ) is in order. Wait and see !

If you think God is the reason for this then your people must have done something to really piss him off.

It's not the end of the world for everyone your being so self centered to think the world revolves around the Philippines. This is a disaster prone country and if your government and people don't prepare themselves for these things then it's a man made disaster not God.

A monster typhoon hit Okinawa a few months ago with no deaths or destruction because they are prepared, they know typhoons hit and build homes and shelters accordingly.

I guess God has no mercy for the stupid.

Just called them and said it was just windy. No rain and a little bit bright in our area. Maybe tonight or tomorrow.

They might have missed the worse part as it is a tightly packed storm. Good thing glad to hear your family is ok.

Just called my sister from Iligan City , they are fine. I called my relatives in Zamboanga City, last night was so windy and just drizzling and today it's bright and sunny. I called our other relatives in Negros Occidental an hour ago , it's terrible there. I called my cousin in Southern Leyte after 8 hours , the damage was horrible and today is bright and sunny. Their neighbors died from falling trees. She said mud mud mud everywhere. Their swimming pool were covered of mud, mud mud, mud everywhere. But my place and my family in Mindanao are intact , no casualties in our area, no rain, just a little windy and breezy, the power was off every now and then but No Damage No people died.

Man people that live in these climates and never experienced cold weather have no idea just how destructive it is. Knock out power during a blizzard and people start dying fast. I hate the cold with a passion. I was raised in it even a paper routes when I was a kid. 20 below zero with snow to my knees in the middle of the night delivering papers.

And my family wonders why I don't want to live there.

I'm not really sure if God creates disaster around the world. God provides us everything but human being creates disaster in this Universe. We shouldn't blame on God.

And the only country you want to live or go back n forth for 30 years, is the Philippines, where you are describing the worse??? Come on, use your common sense and don't make yourself miserable and continue blaming the Filipinos of your plain stupidity.

So many do not believe in God. There are so many legal battle of the unbeliever, not wanting to hear the word Christmas, not to use the name God, not to display Belen, etc.

But then as good Christians who believe in God, we PRAY FOR EVERYTHING; without prayers, NOTHING.

No we should not. These catastrophes have always been around it's just that people were not there. Now with large populations and everyone wanting an ocean view yes people get killed but the audacity of people is since they are getting killed now it must be about them.

The best thing to do is to stop Mining for Gold. We human should stop searching for more. We should stop being greedy. We will boycott computer or electronics stuff because it digs more gold for computer, military gadgets, for jewelries, for Buddha Idol , gold chain, etc, etc. It's we HUMAN beings are disaster to our own graves. We should stop acquiring material things. We should go back to basic life because modern technology bring disaster to Universe. Maybe we should stop coming to Philippine Forum so we don't need to use our computer. How many tons of gold they use to make a computer all around the world? We should also stop circulating gold bars. We should stop circulating money because people still not satisfied of what they have.
And we should stop traveling from around the world because people are being killed. what's the use of being educated and civilized human being beings if people killed each other.
Yeah right, everyone said they well professional, stable life but how come they are not happy? Yeah right, they have the best in life but how come they still in trouble? Yeah right, if drugs is good to you, why people are killing each other? If you are civilized human being why are you still ignorant in this society? There shouldn't be ant racist because we are all human beings? Hmmmm? Haaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyy, I don't understand human beings braincells.
