Hey guys

My PC is an AMD athlon xp 2800+, 1.5gb ram, geforce 7600 gs.

I installed COD4 and I seem to meet all the minimum requirements, but for some reason when I click on single player, the COD4 picture comes up then just disapears. I can't seem to run the game. Does anyone know why? I tried everything. Thanks

Please reply to s.yous@hotmail.com if you can. Thanks again

Simon

You got the lowest spec computer for the game. The 7600 gs is absoulty pants with COD4 and most other games TBH apart from CS:S more RAM may help as you won't have 1.5GB after the system has used what it wants, you will probz have less than a gig free with the system and its applications running

I have a AMD XP 3000+ processor. I called Activision tonight and they told me that they do not support ANY XP processors because they are not stable. I'm trying to find a patch or something to fix it. The guy told me to buy a new computer!

Call the activision service number on the instruction book if you want to her it from them.

Mine is E6300 1.8Ghz duo core, GeForce 7900GS 256M, 2G ram. Game lags as hell when I use default graphic setting. Then I turn off or low for all graphic setting, game goes very smooth and no more lag for me. And the graphic still great!

Simon,

I have the same set up but a XFX GF 6600 256MB DDR video card. Same response you get when starting the game.

A new chip on my ASUS board?

For : AMD-XP - just rename file : X:\GAMES\COD4\miles\mssmp3.asi to .bak - it´s bug.

Daily Horoscope for May 25

Cancer

Today's Full Moon will have a powerful impact on your health during the next few months. Maybe this is the spur you need to inspire you to take better care of yourself, such as improving your diet, getting more exercise or finally consulting the doctor about something that's worrying you. It will also be the end of a chapter connected with your work, but don't fret because this ending will lead on to a new beginning.
