Feminine Looking Men Perceived As More Likely To Be Faithful, Study Says

Women see ‘masculine’ men as unsuitable long-term partners, new research suggests. Conversely, the psychologists from Durham and St Andrews Universities found that men with feminine facial features are seen as more committed and less likely to cheat on their partners. via Scientific Blogging

Perceived...

More likely...

Hence the word "commited".

You still cannot judge a book by its cover. This is an old saying but a tried and tested one. This is even pushing the envelope farther these faces are computer generated images and not even real life people. This study was done by a psychologists and every psych major in college were really strange in many ways so just consider the source. MOST femminine men are gay and are not commited to anyone for long.

Men were'nt made to be pretty... Women are beautiful by nature, and if the man is feminie its only because he's trying to be a woman. So the question is... "Do women what another woman or do they want a man... or a man that looks like a woman... so confusing. I quess men just do whatever the woman wants... even to alter his looks like she does... Geez!

A bit of maternal advice to a virgin upon the advent of her menses:

"Marry the sissy girly-man, and cheat with with the hunks. Therein lies a woman's erotic fulfillment in an environment of marital security. And make sure that your lucky children are fathered by the hunks."

After all, those unfaithful hunks must be cheating with SOMEONE.

Sounds like another waste of tax payers
money on a goverment study project.
I say give the study group a pik and shovel and put them out on the highway projects.
Then they would do the country a better
service.

I agree w/ Jim about wasting the tax payers money. Why don't we feed the hungry and house the homeless before we spend more money making such stupid generalizations. Who cares who is viewed to be more faithful. Look can be deceiving, right?

Speaking of perception being basis for decision...
Psychologists are second only to psychiatristss (in my book) to being more "tilted" than the people they are trying to "help".

Sounds like backlash to me - Remember the line, "Get an ugly girl to marry you"?

Makes perfec sense to me - if a woman gets an effeminate man to marry her, she won't have to worry about some OTHER woman making passes at him - er, unles the OTHER woman thinks the same way - "Blessed are they who run in circles, for they shall be known as wheels"

"Life is hard, and then you die"

I like the idea of a study about stupid studies.
