No it wasn't irridium it was a lithium battery...brain fart...

1. Well, whatta surprise- the "Scientists" found what the funding group PAID them to find.
2. They found that during the ice ages- several of them- less CO2 than now. 3. During the relatively short ice free ages, when it was warm, like now, there was more CO2 than when it was icy. 4. The longer it was warm, the more CO2. Like now. 5. They want to drill deeper next time, to go back 1,500,000 years to show more of the same thing. 6. If the ice is melting, like the doom criers say, it will soon be down to a foot thick, and they can only go back 2 years. 7. The warmest year on record was 1934. It has been cooling ever since then. The second hottest year was 1986, and it has been cooling every year since then. So much for "Global Warming." |

The article states:
"The EPICA research uncovered evidence of rapid climate changes in the past; around 770,000 years ago, levels of both CO2 and CH4 changed drastically within just A FEW DECADES. Similar changes also took place around 40,000 years ago during the last glacial period." Interesting. If such rapid change has been shown to occur naturally, this does not bode well for those who think the warming is man-made. |

It's Neanderthal Man's fault.
Ever since he discovered fire, the Earth has been warming. No, wait, it is all George Bush's fault, since everything else is his fault. |

True science has been against those claiming that "global warming" is caused by humans from the outset. Although it is true that humans influence the climate, research has shown all along that the earth's temperature variations are cyclical in nature and that they can occur rapidly. We continually hear about how the earth is "far too hot now" but no one will ever explain why it was possible to grow wine grapes in England during the 12th century but it is currently TOO COLD to do so. Al Gore won a Nobel prize based on a lie. Go figure. Of course if he were TRULY concerned about the environement he wouldn't waste a small town's worth of electricity every day in his Tennessee mansion. |

Perhaps not. It is still possible that global warming is man-made. |

It is "possible." However the proponents of human caused global warming have suffered a huge setback since their own data now suggests rapid heating and cooling cycles. Unless of course the Flintstone's let their manufacturing plants pollute too much. :P |

Either way, we need to come together as a human race to solve the problem, not look for ways to be divisive. We all share the same planet. |

But, if the Global Warming is truly cyclical and part of the "way the earth works", we shouldn't solve anything. Granted we should consume fewer resources, be a better populace. But if global warming is "natural" then tryin to tolve it would be like trying to "solve" winter. |

The entire "Global Warming" idea is based on a scam- which is working.
The scam is- pay money to "offset your carbon footprint". "Carbon Credits". This is a great scam- you pay money for NOTHING!! Who can prove that any money you pay in will do ANYTHING? Just some scammer's word- "Yeah, sure, I planted a tree in your name". "Yeah, that's right. See- now there is less carbon in the air. But there is still too much, so you need to send me more money." |

To be on the safe side, we should reduce CO2 emissions into the atmosphere. Don't you find it odd that CO2 levels have increased 30%, since the beginning of the Industrial Age? It is very possible the warming is man-made. Or, yes, it could cyclical. But it's best to play it safe since we really don't know for sure. |

I agree we need to take better "care". I just have a problem with the "global warming agenda" people who make it "all about" global warming without any thought given at all to science that has already, to a large degree, shown their argument to be shaky. |

770,000 years ago, the CO2 went up? Hanna-Barbera were lying to us! They were pawns of Big Oil! Those Flintstone cars, they weren't foot-powered after all!! I knew it! |

The sad thing is that even if the scientific evidence were rock-solid for man-made global warming, certain people still wouldn't believe it. Just look at Evolution. It's a rock-solid scientific theory that has withstood testing for 150 years, and certain groups of people refuse to accept it. People believe what they want to believe, whether or not science is on their side. |
