Century Brass mill site still sought for ethanol production plant

With a $50 million stimulus grant anticipated through the U.S. Department of Energy, the owners of American Energy Enterprises, Inc., say they are now prepared to purchase the old Century Brass mill site from the town of New Milford.

Seriously now, the residents of New Milford make a big stink about putting up a shopping mall and housing complexes, which would bring in much needed taxes and jobs. What do you think they are going to do when this company wants to put in a potentially hazardous industrial complex in a somewhat residential zone? I say good luck!
