The public opinions of the U.K citizens are wildly at odds with the science.

SO? You think that public opinion can stop Avalanches? Floods? Storms? Gravity? AGW?

"on global temperature charts."

I.e. no farther back than the historical record of the current interglacial. No need to point out that it was warmer just after the earth was formed, etc.

This from supposed "scientists"?
When Hannibal crossed the alps, he encountered no glaciers. Obviously it was warmer then than now. Also grapes were raised in England before the little ice age, and competed with french wine ... It was most definitely warmer.
AGW agenda is destroying the credibility of science.

no, but warmies like you think that humans can stop a natural process by taxing each other and the giving the money away. We have just had the two wettest years ever in the UK, despite the AGW freaks predicting the "Hottest Driest" years ever. You people have not had a single prediction come true. Now we know you are falsifying the facts as well.

Who would believe anything they say?

Not one person I have talked to believes the scientists have been honest.

On another thread I saw a statement I thought was apropo...No Problem, No Funding.

How far behind the times are you?
The KGB doesn't exist any more, it hasn't since 1991.
Wanna get up to date?
The KGB's successors are the FSB and SVR.

The Farmer's Alamac predicted a cold winter, the National Weather service predicted a mild winter, so far in my area, the Farmer's Alamac prediction is closer to actuality.

November 30 - December 1 snow, very unusual, first time since 1939.

No it wasn't! The CRU at Britains East Anglia University Climate Research Center (CRU) utilized by the IPCC has been exposed as a fraud which was manipulated, omitted and falsified to deceive the public, politicians and the scientific community at large. The CRU will not, has not an now claims was accidentlally deleted and will not release the statistical information they claim supports their BS science and the e-mails released two weeks ago are showing they deliberatly lied and deceived the public. Why? Money, money, more money and promoting the Worlds Socialist-Totalitarian agenda! Really big money in the tens of TRILLIONS world wide!

Concerning predicting the future weather on computers... GIGO is operative term. Didn't I read that a one time there were glaciers covering most of our state? How does that fit it - global cooling? Don't we see computer-animated pictures of dinosaurs gamboling around the volcanoes? How does that fit in - global warming without SUVs? Our real emprical data only goes back a hundred years. Anything else is a guess.

No, but it can stop crazy bills from being passed. i.e. Cap and Trade. You can dismiss public opinion all you want but it is important to changing policy and can stand in the way of you and yours.

What do you think can stop those natural events, cap and trade or reducing a tiny amount of a trace gas?
You'd have more luck wearing your tailor made tinfoil hat.
