I'm still suspicious that Tyler is a poseur. He has WAY too much material that is way too old. A lot of it has been rejected by established churches some time ago. He's got it mixed in with the usual drivel that we've all heard a thousand times by now. He is also pumping out indiscriminate, repetitive drivel without actually doing much point-by-point rebuttal. A lot of his protestations are too stereotyped. He's way over the top too much of the time. His posts smack of someone who isn't really out to convince anyone. He just reaches into a bag of shit and throws it out there. Shit flies but nobody's really home.
Nah...I think Tyler is a caricature of his own making.

I forgot to add that the first couple of times I suggested that Tyler was so imbecilic that he had to be either an imbecile indeed, or that he was not an imbecile- but out to make the creationist/pseudoscience camp look particularly idiotic.

Another alternative is that he is in fact a fundiot, but one that has only very recently become aware of the pseudoscience punditiots and their websites. Since all that nonsense may be new to him, he is particularly impressed and excited -and assumes that same-old-same-old BS he's regurgitating will also be exciting and new to the informed and rational people on this thread- whom, of course, he assumed would be similarly impressed.

I used to think you were a religion like any other. Clearly, you are a violent mind control cult bent on dominating the world.
Your viewpoint is "its you or us" and as warriors, you mean if necessary, "by the sword". So we should not be even talking to you. We should be destroying you or at least quarantining you like some filthy disease.
I've been pushing "quarantine" for quite awhile now. We in the free world should be doing every possible thing; making every possible sacrifice necessary to end entanglements, economic and strategic and diplomatic. The Islamic world should be isolated so that they may do the bloody work of either reform, or self-annihilation without any interference from the free world; still less any investment of our blood and treasure.

And I don't care whether the Islamic world finally succeeds in savaging itself to death, or emerging from the dark ages to become citizens of the free world.

In response to MQ's theory (also Bin-Ladin's) that materialism, etc. has corrupted the Islamic world and led muslims astray from true Islam; and because of that, muslims have suffered the abysmal degradation ubiquitous to the Islamic world- I offered this rebuttal:

I would have to lower my IQ to accept foolishness as truth, such as the unfounded theory of evolution.

Creation screams of a Creator, like the Psalmist says.

Why don't you grow a brain and accept God as Creator, and Jesus as your Saviour before you go to hell?

Why deviate from the truth? The facts are facts. God rules in Heaven and DID create all in six literal 24 hour days.

I've been excited about God and Creation for a lot longer than the internet has been around.

You don't choose who goes to hell and who doesn't, Tyler. Our relationship with God is between us and God. You don't need to interfere. You're not in charge of God's courtroom. You're not His favourite buddy. He doesn't love you best. You're not the world's greatest Biblical scholar. And you don't know any more about God than anybody else does. You're just a man Tyler. Nothing more, nothing special. So your baseless religious opinions are simply just that - your opinions. Sorry if you don't like it.

Hey Tyler, we're not interested in preaching. There's no point in discussing anything scientific with you because you don't know the first thing about it, and you're not interested anyway.

So why not explain why you lied to us for your god? Is this what your religion demands? Are there only 9 Commandments in your religion? Basically, what I wanna know is, why are fundies (like yourself) such dishonest lying scumbags?

Sorry if you don;t accept it, but Jesus Christ said that those who reject Him go to Hell.

Jesus also told us to warn others and to spread the Gospel, and to hold to the Biblical Truth... leaning not on the understanding of men and science so called.

Sorry if it convicts you, but listen to that conviction and repent before it's too late... you may not have tomorrow.

You haven't discussed anything scientific yet.

I never lied.

The commandments were given as a testament that we are flawed and need Jesus Christ to save us, because we all have fallen short of the law and deserve death and hell.

There are more than ten commandments in the law read leviticus.

That's your opinion, bub. But you don't get to decide who does and who doesn't go to hell. Yet here you are, doing exactly that. Such hubris, such arrogance.

That's another lie, since you DID lie. We discussed how Piltdown was discovered to be a fake (by evolutionary scientists) using both carbon dating and radiometric dating, and the fossil record. You reject all three, since you disagree with the fossil record, you disagree with carbon dating, and you think the Earth is merely thousands of years old. Therefore, you have NO REASON to believe that Piltdown is fake. It also means that since you reject biology, chemistry, and physics for the sake of your baseless religious beliefs, all your bogus claims about evolution being "unscientific" are rendered moot anyway.

What's more, you ignored the fact that EVERY SINGLE ONE of your claims was refuted by everyone here. At which point, you switched to preaching.

So I ask AGAIN. Why do you lie? I'm not talking about when you talk about your beliefs, I'm talking about when you start making claims on subjects you know nothing about (science). And you lied, spammed, and dodged rebuttals and continued to do so. Why is that, Tyler? Why are you so dishonest? Does your god like liars? Do they get a free pass to heaven if they are lying for (your) god?

The theory of evolution by natural selection is fully supported by the available scientific evidence.
Tyler wrote:

No, it "screams" that modern living things are descended from common ancestors, through a process of evolution by natural selection. No "Creator" required.

I was merely trying to be helpful, since you are in a science forum, and you have no knowledge of, nor any interest in science. And we are not interested in preaching. Hence the reason for linky to the religious forums.

But you came here to talk about something which is not the topic of this forum. That's why you were impolite. What's more, you started spamming the thread instead of engaging in debate, and providing citations, sources or backup for your spam (I found them myself, and deconstructed them all). Then you started to tell everyone that if they don't agree with your baseless religious beliefs, they were all gonna burn for eternity in hell. Would you think that a Muslim, or Hindu, or Sikh or Jew telling you were gonna burn in hell for not agreeing with them was polite? Yes? No?

Perhaps now you understand why people respond to you the way you do.

So if you wanna play with the big boys, get rid of the kid gloves, stop crying, and prepare to get a bit muddy.

Daily Horoscope for December 23

Aquarius

Someone is being bombastic and overbearing, and you don't like it. You aren't prepared to take their behavior lying down, but standing up to them is likely to result in a rip-roaring row. Well, it seems that the row is almost inevitable, and perhaps that's just as well because it won't do you any good to swallow your anger or tolerate this person's boorishness for much longer.
