DeWine is someone I never expect a correct decision from.
The state would be wise to license these operations and impose a tax. People are going to do this no matter how. The state would be wise to regulate it and get their cut.

Why not license and tax them? In Nevada, they have the mega-corp casinos (the strip and Reno) and otherwise they have the "local" casinos -- independent casinos that the locals use. Locals don't care to go to the strip. Win-win situation in my view. How is this really different from the bingo halls in the west side? Licensing. Still gaming, still gambling really.
