You may try this data recovery which helped me before. You can download trial for free
http://www.asoftech.com/adr/

Please be noted that your ASUS Android device memory should show as a drive letter in your explorer, if not, you need to take out your memory card and connect using a card reader, or plug-in to card reader slot if there's any on your computer.

This question may uppermost in your mind after losing files without backup. As long as the deleted files are not overwritten by new files, they are still on the SD card but invisible. What you need is a ASUS Data Recovery software to recover lost files from ASUS devices.

if you deleted them then recover them straight away then you'll 100% get them back, but if you've been using your phone alot and over writing those deleted files... then your chance of getting all of them back will be slimmer. Try to recover your files, you'll need to be in debug mode then mount as USB, then follow instructions from there:

I would look into a document recovery program. I have used them several times before. I don't know what I would have done if I would have lost those files! it's pretty cheap too. http://www.adifloridaprocess.com/services/doc...

These kinds of questions are asked again and again in the internet. The easiest way to solve these problems is get back your lost data from the backup. Unluckily, most ones have no backup.

Luckily, Photos, audios and videos captured by cell phone are stored in the SD card by default, when a delete command is issued to selected files, the android OS doesn't just go to destroy these files, instead, the OS only label the "deleted" photos or videos as expendable to free up the memory these deleted data occupied for storing new files at some point in the future. Before newly captured videos or photos swamp in, the files deleted from cell phone are intact and can be recovered.

A recovery program such like Wiserecovery can retrieve recently deleted data on you cell phone.
