I'm a medical professional, and I do know that when I went to university most of the professors, and scientists most certainly believed in a creator. The universe had a beginning, and was created by a force outside itself...God? This is something science has proven.
Do you really believe that science has proven the existence of God and just didn't bother to tell us, or is there a conspiracy by science to conceal what they have proven? And, could you please tell us just what is a medical professional.

They want to be the authority. Ultimately, science wants to be your God. It's a jealousy thing. So they will attack whenever and however they can to try to disprove the Creator. Sad bunch!
You believers are a frustrated bunch, you just can't seem to come to grips with the fact that God really doesn't figure into most science unless you try to put him/her there. Science is not contemptuous of God, it is indifferant. If the way science works without God bothers you so much, why don't you just go back to living a stone age existence and totally reject the benifits brought to us by evil, Godless scientists.

Name one of either those trying to disprove, or those who have proven the existence of God, just one name.

Your version of God must be bored silly. I know I would be if I knew everything before, during and after it happened. Seems to me that makes everything kind of pointless, I mean why bother, no free will, no way to change the outcome, everything pre-ordained and it's already happened for God. And you wonder why science is indifferant.

Why would I be scared? I'm going for the kind forgiving God embodied in the living Christ. If what you say is going to happen actually happens I'll ask to be forgiven and tell Jesus I'm sorry and since he can see into our hearts, he'll know im sincere and I'll be in heaven with you, or here on the new earth with you, depending on which brand of nonsense you believe. One of you believers said something about scientists with their genius brains being silly in a previous post, yeh, they're the silly ones, those silly, silly scientists stuck in reality, silly, silly, silly.

I'm leaving for now, I'd like to thank everyone who has given me something to respond to. I feel much better now that I've had a chance to vent a little, thanks again.

Why do you think you only hear about these great discovers in chruch.
simple any where else would get them laughed at.

I bet if you asked these blieveing scientist if I.D.(intelligent design) or Creation 3.0 as I like to call it should be taught in schools the answer would still be mostly NO!!!
Of course, scientists who believe in god would still be against teaching ID or Creationism. How can one teach that the world was designed/created 6,000 years ago and then follow that up with a geology lesson where fossils can prove that the earth is older than that?

Isn't that funny that god knows us before we are even here. Why does he waste our time here? Why doesn't he just send us to heaven or hell straight away since he already knows how this life is going to turn out?

Nope, I am not one of them though I am a secientist. I am one of the the smartest scientists in this world who believes in God. Those who do not recognize God are genius but they have stupid brains about God. They are silly coz they don't believe in God. They think that they know of the answer who made the atoms, quanta, photons, space and vacuum to form the universe.

It all comes down to faith, really. The Devine Creator(s) exists on a different level then we do.
In my belief all things were created by the Goddess and God, and They used parts of Themselves to do so.
As for the scientist who doesnt believe in God... put him in a fox hole on the front lines of a war. I'll bet he changes his mind. At least untill he gets out of there.

Good question. I mean, who really cares if scientists believe in God or not? Science has done many wonderful things for Mankind and our planet, so I really could care less the religion of scientists. It's the Christians who get all in an uproar over Atheist scientists, or "God Haters" as they call them.

No, actually, scientists DON'T know, and they admit it. Quit distorting science to push your religious agenda.

Yes I do believe that science has proven that there is a God.
A medical professional is someone working in the field of medicine.
Sheesh! And we wonder why this putz can't figure out that the universe didn't create itself! lol

God has been proven to exist based upon the most reserved view of the known laws of physics. For much more on that, see Prof. Frank J. Tipler's below paper, which among other things demonstrates that the known laws of physics (i.e., the Second Law of Thermodynamics, general relativity, quantum mechanics, and the Standard Model of particle physics) require that the universe end in the Omega Point (the final cosmological singularity and state of infinite informational capacity identified as being God):

F. J. Tipler, "The structure of the world from pure numbers," Reports on Progress in Physics, Vol. 68, No. 4 (April 2005), pp. 897-964. http://math.tulane.edu/~tipler/theoryofeveryt... Also released as "Feynman-Weinberg Quantum Gravity and the Extended Standard Model as a Theory of Everything," arXiv:0704.3276, April 24, 2007. http://arxiv.org/abs/0704.3276

Out of 50 articles, Prof. Tipler's above paper was selected as one of 12 for the "Highlights of 2005" accolade as "the very best articles published in Reports on Progress in Physics in 2005 [Vol. 68]. Articles were selected by the Editorial Board for their outstanding reviews of the field. They all received the highest praise from our international referees and a high number of downloads from the journal Website." (See Richard Palmer, Publisher, "Highlights of 2005," Reports on Progress in Physics. http://www.iop.org/EJ/journal/-page=extra.hig... )

Reports on Progress in Physics is the leading journal of the Institute of Physics, Britain's main professional body for physicists. It has a higher impact factor (according to Journal Citation Reports) than Physical Review Letters, America's most prestigious physics journal (which Prof. Tipler has also been published in). A journal's impact factor reflects the importance the science community places in that journal.

See also the below resources for further information on the Omega Point Theory:

Theophysics http://geocities.com/theophysics/

"Omega Point (Tipler)," Wikipedia, April 16, 2008 http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php...

"Frank J. Tipler," Wikipedia, April 16, 2008 http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php...

Tipler is Professor of Mathematics and Physics (joint appointment) at Tulane University. His Ph.D. is in the field of global general relativity (the same rarefied field that Roger Penrose and Stephen Hawking developed), and he is also an expert in particle physics and computer science. His Omega Point Theory has been published in a number of prestigious peer-reviewed physics and science journals in addition to Reports on Progress in Physics, such as Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society (one of the world's leading astrophysics journals), Physics Letters B, the International Journal of Theoretical Physics, etc.

Prof. John A. Wheeler (the father of most relativity research in the U.S.) wrote that "Frank Tipler is widely known for important concepts and theorems in general relativity and gravitation physics" on pg. viii in the "Foreword" to The Anthropic Cosmological Principle (1986) by cosmologist Prof. John D. Barrow and Tipler, which was the first book wherein Tipler's Omega Point Theory was described.

The leading quantum physicist in the world, Prof. David Deutsch (inventor of the quantum computer, being the first person to mathematically describe the workings of such a device, and winner of the Institute of Physics' 1998 Paul Dirac Medal and Prize for his work), endorses the physics of the Omega Point Theory in his book The Fabric of Reality (1997). For that, see:

David Deutsch, extracts from Chapter 14: "The Ends of the Universe" of The Fabric of Reality: The Science of Parallel Universes--and Its Implications (London: Allen Lane The Penguin Press, 1997), ISBN: 0713990619; with additional comments by Frank J. Tipler. http://geocities.com/theophysics/deutsch-ends...
