One thing missed out here is vit D. Studies from more than ten years ago link S.A.D (winter blues) to vit D, and it was much more effective than light boxes. Anxiety is connected to depression so this could help. Safe daily dose that works needs to be about 8000UI (100ug) of vit D3, 400% of RDA.

Lack of Omega 3 (or too much Omega 6, ie. sunflower oil) is linked to depression, post-partum/natal and bipolar, so the same applies. Get high strength DHA, max 2 grams per day of total Omega 3 (and forget about linseed oil and other non-DHA sources).

Finally, too much caffeine is linked to anxiety and panic attacks. If you don't build up tolerance then you cna be prone from just one strong cup a day. For example, someone who takes only one in the morning won't build tolerance.
