Poor Dix and the other guy.
They will have to live all their life with the shame of having to wear a stolen medal.
Fron a self respecting athlete you would have expected a "No Thanks, the whole World saw who won Silver".
The bad habit of the US to win at all costs, buying or bullying is costing it the respect and friendship of the few countries left in their corner.
Petty and Pity are the only words that come to me.

Hahahahahaha, most Americans can only speak one language and few can speak 2, we can speak 4 languages before going to school. The little respect that the americans have, they have been loosing it with every action they take. Churandy... you are our country's hero despite of these americans. To abo a a krusa e strepi komo di dos niun otro hende mas.
lots Love goes to all Island nations that where able to grab a medal despite the "win at all cost" attitude of the americans. We have less opportunities than them and they still need to have it their way.

In 2012 we from the Caribbean nation gonna "kick them ass".
Pease an love

The American sprinters are THE failure of the Olympics. Beating by Jamaica, beaten by Trinidad, beaten by Cuba and beaten by Netherlands Antilles. And to top all it all of, they got disqualified in the 4x100m Men AND Women relay. How sweeeeeeeeeeet ...

I won't go into discussion about rules of track and field and the disqualification of our LEADER, Churandy Martina, but I want all you Americans to know that you might be one of the most powerfull countries on earth, but you will and can never forget that Churandy Martina from Curacao,(Netherlands Antilles) is faster then all you Americans. What happened made him even stronger and will be ready for each one of you during the next olympic or any other races all over the world. Don't forget one thing......he didn't lose his medal yet. We'll even go to court if necessary cause there are still many questions to be answered. We'll see what's gonna happen. He's our champ and the second fastest on earth. That's what you can't take away. "19.82" will always be remembered as a flashing nightmare for you guys and as a happiness for the entire nation of Curacao, The Netherlands Antilles and even The Netherlands. Ariba Churandy !!!!!

Don't worry Churandy, The Karma law took care of them......with the little we have in the Caribbean; Sun, Fun, music, dance, rythm, joy and ground food we will continue showing them that we do not need no dope and money and we will continue beating their @#$%% in the future. Watch us!!! Go Jamaica, Trinidad, Cuba, Netherlands Antilles and the other island yet to come. Goooooooooooooooooo!! go go go!!

Fool you to think a cheat can be a hero.

Simple answer is Churandy Martina cheated and he was disqualified, nothing to do with race or the USA.
Read the rules

It's not any more the question of stepping on the line or not which was not seen by the officials. After the race you have to handle according to the rules. Protests can be submitted within 30 minutes not talking about the ethics of the officials to advise the Yanks to protest and to allow them to look into the videotapes as a service for they DQ the nr. 3. If it can be proven the 30 minutes were over the protest is not valid and the silver medal should go back to Churandy. It is that simple. Let's see what the results will be after bringing the case to the high athletic organisations like KAS, IAAF and IOC.

Cheating is when somebody does something on purpose not when it happens accidentally.

Anglo I do realise that English is not your first language.
Cheating has nothing to do something accidental or on purpose.

Here are all the definitions of cheating I looked it up specially for you >>>>>

transitive verb
1: to deprive of something valuable by the use of deceit or fraud2: to influence or lead by deceit, trick, or artifice3: to elude or thwart by or as if by outwitting <cheat death>intransitive verb1 a: to practice fraud or trickery b: to violate rules dishonestly <cheat at cards> <cheating on a test>2: to be sexually unfaithful —usually used with on<was cheating on his wife>3: to position oneself defensively near a particular area in anticipation of a play in that area <the shortstop was cheating toward second base>
— cheat·er noun
synonyms cheat, cozen, defraud, swindle mean to get something by dishonesty or deception. cheat suggests using trickery that escapes observation <cheated me out of a dollar>. cozen implies artful persuading or flattering to attain a thing or a purpose <always able to cozen her grandfather out of a few dollars>. defraud stresses depriving one of his or her rights and usually connotes deliberate perversion of the truth <defrauded of her inheritance by an unscrupulous lawyer>. swindle implies large-scale cheating by misrepresentation or abuse of confidence <swindled of their savings by con artists>.

The simple answer to all who cheat, you get disqualified.
Small island or not a small island speak four languages or do not speak 4 languages.

By the way only the very few well educated speak 4 languages.

Majority can not even speak their addopted language(Dutch)in a manner that could be understood

Why not avoiding misinterpretations since a few people has a university degree or the Oxford dictionary without looking up every word. Tell just what it was: stepping on the line. In all common dictionaries the meaning of cheat is negative/on purpose. In other languages like Dutch you have also words with very different meanings and you don't know them all. Keep it simple.

Since when in Dutch is bedriegen (bedrog)a different meaning than it is in English.
It means the same in all languages.
A cheat is a cheat it does not matter if it is koeterwaals.(Gibberish or double Dutch)
The simple facts is Churandy Martina cheated by stepping on the whiteline his journey was made shorter to the finish by stepping on the white line than the other runners.
Stop crying and except the fact he cheated
Churandy Martina is taking it much better than you are.
He has 4 years of training to show the world how good he is

Read the rules
I was thinking the same think minus the cheating. He didn't cheat, he stepped on the line just like the other runner and he was disqalified plain and simple. All of these people on here are defending a man the was unfortunately disqualified but rightfully so and they are blaming america for being sore losers. It is crazy. So America didn't have a great showing at track and fields this Olympics, that doesn't nullify all the other Olympics where the americans dominated and believe this, they will dominate again. Don't hate america because your compatriot was disqualified. As fast as he was, a rule was broken and just like Spearmon was disqualified, he has the right to point out that Churundy stepped on the line as well, so he must also go. Just so you know, I am not anti-carribean because although I am an american my roots lie in the caribbean and latin-america but it seems like those from the dutch antilles are expressing the worst kind of sour grapes right now, exactly what you accuse the americans of doing. Finally, it wasn't only americans who disqualified Churundy. Grow up and wait for the next Olympics to see what your guy is capable of then.
