OMG, rarecutiepie you started out ok then fell into the same bucket of Sh_it you just accused Peter of being in, you're absolutely sure it was drug free and natural? seems to me there's been a few kicked out already?

The fact is rules are rules, if it's suppose to be 16 then let it be 16, as far as the foods we eat, you saying we're all fat pigs?

I agree we don't eat very good but I thought we had some nice looking girls over there and really pretty talented.

Well gotta run, the American fries are almost done!

GO USA and anybody else that has worked their butts off to get there, be they eat junk food or not...

Hopefully some justice will be restored when these young girls are old enough to realize they cheated someone else out of their glory and they go public to apologize. That may not be for a very long time, but I think eventually it will come to light. As a mature person you can not feel proud of your accomplishment knowing deep in your heart that you had an unfair advantage over your competetors.

agreed, jayzee you are an idiot, and insulting americans doesn't change the fact that "He Kexin" is fourteen, even if she is pretty good, and dominating the usa would be more of an insult if the games were judged properly and had not gone to crap, cause the judging is in chinas favor against every country i've seen so far not just the usa

While i may not be an economic expert by any means. One does have to find Chinese poster's comments on American fastfood consumption rather entertaining. The hidden fact behind it is, the Mcdonalds company is growing faster in the Nations of China and Japan than anywhere else on the planet.
i agree that the chinese posters comments are entertaining, i was in china in march and loved it there but these olympics are worse than pig s#!t and there are a lot of mcdonalds popping up there hahahahahahahahaha

The point is that these 14 year olds competed unfairly against 16 year olds. If they would have had to compete against other 14 year olds then they would have had tougher competition. And yes, 2 years does make a big difference in gymnastics.

IOC is spinelass and have proved it more then ever after these Olympics. AS long as they see the Green from these olympics they dont could care less about the actual competition that happens in these games. Its fine that these young girls can compete with best, but as lar as there are rules they have to fallow them just like the rest of us.

16,15, 14 ... I don't think this is the main problem. The fact is that to have a few girls able to compete for gold , how many were taken from school when they were 5 or 6 years old and literally tortured with endless days of hard training (none of us would accept for our own child) for years with no choice at all.
It's ok to suffer for a sport you choose and you are old enough to be able to say no if you don't wish to go on but those girls; did they have a choice ?
We don't want to buy toys or shoes made by children, but we are willing to make them suffer for years so we can enjoy a good tv show like the Olympics ! No contradiction ?
The exercises requested should be adapted to grown girls so weighting 33 kg like He Kexin or worst 28kg like this little diver Wang Xin would not be a advantage any more.
Sorry for my poor English but I hope you get my point

Joecool I understand what your saying, but I must saying age is the main problem, because thats what breaks the rule. While all that other stuff is bad and heartbreaking, they aren't breaking any kind of rules laid down by down doing that.

to answer your question, No, the Chinese girls dont have a choice. there was a story on one of the underage girls, who had wanted to go home and quit but wasn't allowed to.

But thats the difference and we are able to win. Because they may train longer and harder then our athletes, our gymnasts actually love doing what they do and is why we can still compete and win.

He Kexin just show the world your grade 1 school photo which has a plaque detailing year and grade on it. After graphics experts can't find fault with it this controversy will all go away. You have the power to shut up the doubters if you want.

If they are getting rid of rules where are the limits. If they get rid of age requirements what's next? getting rid of the rules on performance enhancement drugs? Rules are set there for reasons and I think they should investigate.
