Shame that St Andews has to 'honour' a St Andrews student who couldn't finish a St Andrews degree in such a way. The plastic degree will get far more attention than those awarded to the students who actually worked for their award. After all Hoy and team just happened to be in top form at the Olympics when the others in the field were not, and yet we are all expected to think they are wonderful..including the Royal minions. Sad country where the people most feted for their victories are sportsmen. After all a great deal of their ability is either natural or acquired through training when they do not qualify for work in the real world. Honouring sportsmen for doing their job should be banned!
