The leaders of Gatlinburg must be wh*res to consider even more development in that neon h*ll hole. I once very much enjoyed visiting Gatlinburg but in recent years it has become extremely ugly.

Why a person chooses to spend precious vacation time in Gatlinburg is beyond me.

Because there are still very peaceful beautiful spots in the smokey mountains, you don't have to spend any time in the tourist traps, I love the mountains & will continue to come as long as possible. If it's not your thing there's always someplace else for you, for those of that love it this is it.

My prior comment was for Gatlinburg, not the Smokies. I agree that there remains beautiful, peaceful spots in the Smokies. Unfortunately, none remain in Gatlinburg.
