Have you ever wondered why Walmart, even locally, is cutting back on employee hours? Here is some very interesting reading which is available online. They cant all be wrong in their assumptions. Can they?
Obamacare Is Turning Walmart Workers Into Temps
Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) opponents warned it would happen, but now theres mounting proof that full-time employees are being replaced with part-timers, at least in the retail industry where Walmart is focused on keeping the majority of workers to part-time hours only
Walmart was a proponent of Obamacare and its increasingly clear why, the retailer is shifting health care costs and responsibility to the state. Its creepy move that has a lot of people upset, but its not illegal.

Walmart's New Health Care Policy Shifts Burden To Medicaid, Obamacare
Walmart, the nations largest private employer, plans to begin denying health insurance to newly hired employees who work fewer than 30 hours a week, according to a copy of the companys policy obtained by The Huffington Post.
Under the policy, slated to take effect in January, Walmart also reserves the right to eliminate health care coverage for certain workers if their average workweek dips below 30 hours -- something that happens with regularity and at the direction of company managers.

Walmart plans to cut employees hours to force them on to Medicaid
Walmart plans to cut employees hours to force them on to Medicaid. While Walmart is not the only major employer who will make business decisions to woefully place more employees on Medicaid, they stand as a global business example. Walmart already strives to employ people at or below the poverty line, and makes its on-the-job benefits available to only a small percentage of their employees.
Walmart has announced that it will reduce the number of hours it will allow certain employees to work, in order to make them ineligible for benefits under the new Obamacare, which will take effect in January

Also Walmart has beaten it's suppliers to death driving their cost down to make more profit, so the suppliers are turning to other outlets for their products. Far too many Walmartians wander blindly to the store thinking everything is cheaper but keeping up with the cost per ounce, not just the box size on products you buy over and over shows that they are not always the cheapest. Dollar Tree, Target, Dollar General, Costco, and even CVS and Walgreen's weekly specials are worth looking at. Also double coupon days save money. Many shoppers got fed up Christmas when the store would be full and only a few check out lines would be open. There were plenty of people walking around with clipboards watching instead of helping move the long lines. Wallyworld seems to be digging it's own grave.
