There are 30 comments on the Fox2Now story from Jul 22, 2010, titled Fast Eddie's Owner Throwing Out First Pitch at Wrigley Field. In it, Fox2Now reports that:

The owner of Fast Eddies has never been a Chicago Cub's fan, but tomorrow, he will be throwing out the first pitch at Wrigley Field for "Brewery Day". "It's a huge honor and he's really proud because the reason he's able to do this is because he has sold more beer than anyone in Illinois," said Trish Gazall Scholar, 'Fast Eddie's' wife.

Ooohh, he sold more beer than anyone in Illinois ... what an accomplishment !!!
I wonder how that all adds up when it comes to liver disease, broken families, drunk driving accidents & deaths !! Way to go Cubbies for honoring this man's accomplishment.

I believe it I got hit and run on in his parking lot. Had to pay 500 dollars. Most likely by a drunk. Haven't been back since, but still congrats for getting to throw out the first pitch. I am sure it will be really cool.

Really? You are going to attack this man? It's not his job to tell someone to stop drinking or not to drink at all. Stop blaming others for moronic alcoholics stupidity. They made their choices and they have to deal with the consequences. I'm so sick of whiny people that won't take responsibility for their own actions. Now go cry my a river. If your spouse is a drunk, then it's your fault and theirs. No one else's.

P.S. I hope Eddie wears a Cards jersey lol

You are correct, alcoholics are morons and whiny people who won't take responsibility for their own actions ... you hit the nail right on the head with those points but I don't see how you can blame "alcoholics spouse" for the wife's/husband's alcholism !!! Everyone should know that the alcoholic is the only one to blame for their behavior.

I've heard that their food isn't very good; I've heard it just an overrated, overcrowded party place. My 21 year old nephew is the only person I've heard say he liked it
