There's some people living right in the Greater St. Louis area, Rudge Gilman, Steve Proetz, Robin Deubner, Mark Travis, Nick Hamilton, Rick Brettelle, and Michael E Carter. What do they have in common?

They collectively own and manage several SCAM auto warranty companies. Michael E Carter is actually listed as "General Counsel" for them.

National Dealers Warranty Inc
Canadian Auto Warranty Services
National Dealer Warranty, Inc
Stop Repair Bills.com
United Warranty Wholesalers
Automotive Warranty Protection

These are the companies and their Better Business Bureau reports are glowingly bad. Here's the links to their reports:

The first link, to National Dealers Warranty Inc has the most information about these people, including the several lawsuits against them and the illegal activities they've participated in.

Unfortunately, I was also a victim of their scam. You can read the details here:

Apparently Rudge Gilman and his associates don't understand that you cannot sell a "contract" over the telephone because customers do not have the ability to read, agree to, and sign the contract. Apparently, they also don't understand that they have to be licensed in states in which they conduct business.

So, now these people think that they're laughing all the way to the bank. Most of them have purchased new homes in the last few years. Rudge Gilman not long ago also purchased a 42 foot boat. He's probably the life of the party.

But, the problem is, he and his cohorts are SCAMMING people every day of the week and they are the problem. Well, my attorney has already filed suit against them and my attorney already knows that he's got them over a barrel. I guess they weren't really worried that people would fight back and cut into their profits, but I think they should be worried.

And, I just wanted you good folks here in St. Louis know what these people in your midst are doing.

You can steal 150 dollars from a 7-11 cash drawer and serve 3yrs prison time and 5 yrs probation.now if you are smart you will steal millions of dollars like these guys do pay a big fine then close the business and still have millions of stolen dollars. After a while they do it again under a different name with different so called company officers.

The sad part is they are always able to find just as slim bag people as they are to work for them such as one of my family members who always tries to make a fast easy buck. White trash little shyte that he is. Too bad he doesn't get sent back to jail.

National Dealers Warranty has amicably and professionally resolved this matter and has refunded the service contract price and paid for my car repair at issue. I am very pleased with the way they handled this matter.

Here is some interesting items to digest. Michael E Carter has filed in the August 2010 primary to run as Prosecuting Attorney in St. Charles County. He is currently charged with DWI & speeding violation in this county. His trial is scheduled for May 15. But the kicker is his current report of funds ($25,000) received for his campaign. Just so you all know, Kelly Belly LLC list Rudge Gilman as the agent with an address of 3925 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, which is the location of 1821 Pizza & Brew. Attached is the report filed with the Missouri Ethics Commission on 4/15. If you don't smell SKUNK after reviewing this your nostrils aren't working. http://www.mec.mo.gov/EthicsWeb/CampaignFinan...

This link takes you directly to the report. Either one will work, but the other one will take a few clicks to get to the report itself.

WHAT WAS THE RESULT OF ALL OF THIS IN THE END? HOW WAS IT RESOLVED AND WHAT DID THEY EVENTUALLY DO. I HAVE AN ISSUE WITH THEM AS WELL.

These guys are still alive and well on the eve of 2014 - Nick Hamilton was named the owner of a company called "Vehicle Protection Center" after much arm twisting on a phone call today. I called to inquire about where my address was purchased after receiving a phony advert for "warranty service" that is designed to look official and to intimidate (perforated envelope, threats of a "$2000 Fine, 5 Yaers imprisonment of both for any person interfering or obstructing with delivery of this letter." How is that any different from a Christmas card? Same fine, same law...).

Nick Hamilton and his associates are white collar criminals. They should be behind bars. If what they're doing is not illegal, then our laws need an update.

Small time players, though, compared to Jesse Williams: http://m.theatlantic.com/magazine/archive/201...
