You and Obama have no answers, only speeches, deflections, and excuses. Bottom line: You are a hypocrite. You profess your education, career, and accomplishments that you most likely earned by your own endeavors, yet defend a President and an ideology that favors enabling an attitude of parasitic dependence. For someone who denounces God,you seem to use a religious tone when it is to your convenience.
And idiots like you who have no knowledge of economics are why the middle class is almost totally gone and two percent of our citizens hold ninety percent of our wealth.

Just like Romney. It was ok for his dad to use welfare to start and build a life so that ole Mitt could benefit, but not ok when modern day people try the same thing. What is that called? Oh yeah, hypocrisy.

I'm tired of those that deem welfare more lucrative than getting a job and goose to live off of it because they are too lazy to work. I have to work for my money. The abusers of the system should, too.

Welfare should be a hand up, not a hand out. The system in the U.S., however, has been designed to keep people in a holding pattern. If you rise up just a bit above the welfare benefit level, all the benefits are taken away! So, why can't it be different? If you are dependent on someone for everything, food(food stamps), housing(rent subsidies), cell phones(communication), clothing and incidentals(TANF), like a child, unless things are made uncomfortable for you, you will never stand on your own two feet and provide for yourself. Why stop children from having children when they get a bonus check each time they do. We are becoming a nation of Honey Boo Boo families. That is sad. Glorifying dysfunction. How can individuals prosper when that kind of behavior is not only acceptable but revered? Reward those who work and are productive instead of those who are lazy and dependent and things will start changing real fast. The twelve step program can work for lazy welfare families, the government and taxpayers would be better off funding something like that instead of all these other freebies.

Your Neo-CONservatism favors an attitude of "We got ours! Let the peasants starve!" The only problem with the "trickle-down" theory is that nothing ever "trickles down." Just admit that you are selfish. We already know that you are, so why not just admit it and stop pretending?
For years, you propagandists denounced your opponents as being "Communists." When the Soviet Union folded, that "party line" didn't do much good any more, so you started attacking "socialists." When that failed, you have moved to "liberals." You have cried "wolf" so many times that no one CARES whom you attack, since your attacks are all lies anyway.
So are we supposed to give more than half our paychecks, AKA let it "trickle down" to those who are lazy and won't work? Will that satisfy you? Yeah, that sounds fair.

The only reason that you think that people only work when they are "uncomfortable" is because THAT IS THE WAY YOU ARE!

And, speaking of "subsidies," how come you LOVE to see "Big Oil" get subsidies and "Big Farmers" get subsidies? You LOVE "welfare" but only the "BIG DOLLAR" kind like "Big Oil" gets.

(And "Honey Boo Boo" works and makes more money than you do, Jethro!)

There will always be poor people. Their level of poor however, is just a state of mind, it is different things to different people. Poor here in the U.S. a far cry from poor in another country.

Ah, yes! There will always be "poor." And the poor in the US have more than the poor in other countries, so we can just forget about them.

They don't deserve food anyway.

Even hunger is just a "state of mind."

And their hunger is different to your hunger.

Oh yes because the majority of food stamp and assistant recipients are starving while they drive nice vehicles, buy cigs, alcohol and drugs. I bet they are real hungry!

Cite credible studies.(Neither Rush nor "Fox News" are credible for this purpose.)

However, feel free to argue with this study based upon survey data exclusive to The Associated Press: "80 Percent Of U.S. Adults Face Near-Poverty, Unemployment: Survey":

Regarding "nice vehicles," the AVERAGE AGE of personal vehicles in the US is 11.4 years old. The annual number of cars going to salvage yards has dropped by 50%. I will give a "Fox Business" link so "Norton" will perhaps have the courage to click it.
