Was looking through some old pics and came accross a few at Michaels Time Machine, a disco in Maplewood, it later turned into Animal House. Had a blast there in the late 70's early 80's.
Anyone remember this place? Just wondering if anyone does.

I met my husband there in 1978. We are still married almost 34 years! He never could dance but he sure was handsome. The music was so loud I didn't realize he had a foreign accent until the music stopped. I still have my favorite disco dress. Donna Summer's "Last Dance " was always the last song played before the lights were turned up. The building is torn down now.

Hey Keith... I tended bar at Michaels. You gotta remember our bosses Vivian and Lee the ex Playboy Bunnies who opened the place with Mike... before Sean Spearing got it. It was a blast working there... with Carol... and "Magee"... Joy and Cindy.... Wow, brings back memories. After work it was "Faces" or "Cahokia Ballroom"... or "The Red Carpet Lounge". We had a lot of fun. Sometimes too much fun!!

I remember it and danced their often, as our friends Joan and Sean Spearing owned it. I recall it being the biggest, fanciest disco in town at that time. Loved it!!!

I played there for 6 weeks in 77 in a Beatles band called blackbird. Sean and Lee ran the place then.

I played there in 77 for 6 weeks with blackbird. Sean built us a stage so we would look more like the Beatles. Lee ran the place.
