I can see part of your point here, but the problem is (just like with all who abuse the system in one way or another) it isn't right to punish (or not help) the innocent ones in order to act as karma for those who are just lazy and not taking responsibility for themselves. What if someone is disabled, and that in some way contributes to them becoming obese? Taking up extra seats, I agree with the extra payment. The buffet however, I disagree with. There are lots of thin people who can eat plate after plate. If a buffet wants to charge by the plate, that's up to them, but weight isn't always an indicator of how much someone will eat. As for the carts...I agree it is extremely rude and disrepectful of any lazy person to take one when they don't have a real physical disability preventing them from walking. Notice I said any lazy person...I've seen thin people on them also. Maybe not as often as obese people, but still have seen them.
I want to thank you for being the voice of reason here. I am overweight, I do use a cart, only in super center type store. I have issue with walking long distances, can't manage giant stores. In regular grocery, walgreens type store, don't need it. Anyway, thanks for being reasonable.

I'd take a skinny girl over a fatty any day. Every time a fat girl gives a bj she's thinking "I'm so hungry". I'm not letting some fat cow eat me because my unit reminds her of bratwurst.

At the beginning of the year, I was 260 pounds. Yes, that is my fault. Since January, I have lost a little over 80 pounds, and have gone from a size 22 to a size 10. My issue in the past with losing weight? I was scared of change. How did I do it? I stopped eating fried foods, beef and pork. I now only do whole grains, vegetables, fruit, water, and chicken. Chicken being only once in a while. This shows that anyone who has been battling weight since the age of 5 can do it. It just takes the mental willingness to do so.

Good for you on your weight loss.......however, unless you are way over 6' tall, I don't see how you could go from 260, lose 80 lbs, which still makes you 180 and fit into a size 10. I weigh 160 and am in a size 14.

Everyone is built differently. I am 5'5 and my work pants are a 10. I don't do elastic waist bands. I have also lost 15 inches, which is helping me to wear the size that I do.

True, and again, great job, but I'm also 5'5" with a very ample chest, and my pants are not a size 10 and I weigh much less....just thought it strange.

Maybe because your "chest" sags down to your waist.

Wow, I'm going to have to go to the burn unit after that scorcher. What school of insults did you got to?

I went to a school that thought me how to spell and use proper grammar, not a school of insults or how to be a bully. Also didn't go to a school who taught me how to butt into other people's business if I didn't have anything to contribute to the conversation.

"what school of insults did you GOT to"?!?!?

You "got" me there. I didn't catch the t at the end of go because I was on the way to the burn unit. Now I have to go back. Correct me if I'm wrong but your name should be spelled "You're Still a Dumbass". Why do all you ghetto spook lovers use UR instead of you're.
