This makes people deal with a never ending debt circle where the owners of CACi and US Bank be getting richer and richer and the poor public gets ripped off more and more. It be even worse than what I said because the employees of CACi are mostly poor black women like me who want to make an honest living but be forced to commit crimes of lying and defraauding those that have US Bank credit cards. I had to lie to those with US Bank credit cards to earn praise and rewards when I worked at the place because the management of CACi threatens to fire and publicly make fun of employees who don’t get enough checks. The only way to be getting a lot of over the phone checks from customers is to lie to them. CACi also lies to the state of Missouri to deny unemployment benefits to honest employees who refuse to engage in this scam. I beg the cops and the night time news to be investigateing US Bank’s ties to the crooked place called CACi.

I have been the recipient of 5 phone calls from this group. They want me to pay an amount and if I don't, they will ruin my credit. They will not tell me what the debt is for, and will not mail me anything. They have been reported to the FTC and the State Attorney General. A real scam.

I also got a bill, from US BANK saying I owe money from years ago. I called and even wrote a letter to ask what this was for. No response. When I called and asked they didn't have an answer for me either. Then the other day I got a letter from (Don't remember) saying that If I pay so much money, they will erase the debt. Hmmm, what is really wierd, I never ever, had a bank account with US BANK!

I know we need St.Anthonys Hospital in St.Louis but if you owe them money and you can only make payments, forget it they will sell your account to collection agency for 1/2 of what you owe. They won't give you the choice of paying the amount they sold it to them for, in fact the
agency called me and said they would take $1650.00
right now for the bill that totaled 2050.00.

I am a former employee of CACi in St. Louis. As far as asking to speak to this lady's husband on her cell number, that number was either supplied by the credit card holder as a contact number or no other numbers were available to reach him and a skip trace was done to find any phone number that might be used as a contact. According to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, it is unlawful to speak to anyone other than the debtor about the nature of the call or that there is a debt in collections, so that might be why the call sounded suspicious. The longer the debt has been overdue, the more pressure is applied to collect the debt. In most cases, the debtor is qualified to enter into US Bank's Hardship Program, where the interest rate is lowered and the debtor's payments are reduced to a more affordable amount. However, the debtor must conform to a string of regular monthly payments and they must not miss more than 2 payments to stay on the program. The debtor is also required to call the Hardship Program department to make sure their application has been approved if that department has not contacted them within 7 business days. Also, as long as the debt remains on the books, even though they are on the program they will receive calls from CACi periodically, to be reminded they can always make additional payments to get the debt cleared as soon as possible.

And US Bank will not permit anyone to enter into their hardship program unless they permit automatic withdrawals from bank account for 12 or 60 mos. Plus US Bank sent most frightening letter that they planned to take $1677 from a bank account for a totally different business (LLC) and where the bank account is only a little over $100. Scammers and schemers!

My wife was not able to join my bank account when we got married because she was listed on "Chexsystems". We had no idea why. Chexsystems is the reporting agency that banks use for unpaid debts. The bank gave us a number to call and told us we needed to clear our listing before they could open an account. She called "Chexsystems" but was only able to leave a message in which they required her social security number and her Drivers license number. We then received a letter from "Chexsystems" in the mail informing us that the whole thing was a mistake because there was someone in the same state who had the same name and similar social security and drivers license numbers. They then requested a copy of her social security card to verify that it was indeed a mistake and to officially clear the record. We sent it in. We then recieved a phone call from a woman at "Chexsystems" telling us we needed to pay our debt that day or they would report it on our credit. We told her about the letter and that we had sent the SS card in. She said she had no record of that at all, and that we needed to pay today, and that was it. At this point we still did not know what the debt was from! We asked for info and she told us that she could only send info in the mail, but she could tell us that it had to do with a Debit Card issued by US Bank. We told her we would call her back. We then called US Bank and they said they could give no information to us because they had handed it over to the collection agency. We called "Chexsystems" back asked if we could set up a payment plan. The representative refused and said it was not possible. We asked for the details of the charge and she told us that she could only send info in the mail but we still had to pay today. We told her to send the info. She verified our address and told us she would send it. We then told her we would call back after we decided what to do. We decided to pay it. We called back and spoke to a man. We said we wanted to pay the debt. He asked if we wanted to pay the whole amount. We said yes. He then charged our account. He said the listing would now be cleared. Weeks passed, and we never received the details of the charge. We went to the bank and told them we had paid the charge. They told us that we were still listed on "Chexsystems". I checked the credit card statement, and the charge was from "CACI St. Louis".

I was the best that Caci or US Bank had ever seen before leaving that snake pit. I can tell you that all of these statements are probably true. In addition, US Bank has a briefcase of batch phones for cycle 7 accts. (Batch phones are cell phones which are highly illegal to use in collection efforts because you cannot monitor them). Caci is not owned by or run by honest people. The top management lies to the bank to get unqualified people (some without highschool), jobs while hounding others as these ladies describe. Some of CACI's supervisors dont even know the difference between a chapter 7 bankruptcy, a chapter 13, a dismissed bankruptcy, or a cantaloupe. Truly a sorry bunch and US Bank will continue to be a joke while they do business with them.

It was the worst mistake US Bank ever did, hiring CACI. It seems as though US Bank doesn't care about the number of law suits they will have due to the illegal practices these people do. I wonder if Richard Davis, the CEO of US Bank has any idea of all that is going on in the Credit Card Collection Department in US Bank which CACI is very much a part of.

I think it's a load of crap. This dude called me from this CACI, which I thought was affliated with homeland defense. Same abriviation :) dumb idea though. He tells me I owe around 900 dollas. I laughed at him, cuz I dont have a credit card with us bank. He also told me how this other guys medical bills are attached to my file. Told me the mans name, which I'm disclosing, and the amount he has....attached to my account. I called him out on this bs, and he asked me to hold. I did. He spoke with his supervisor, then came back to me. Telling me to disregard what he has said. This company knows my name, address, SS number, and called me on my private number...what the f@(# is up with that!!!

I smell a fat lawsuit brewing.

actually if you make your payments on time as agreed with them then yuor accoutn shouldnt go to an agency. once you default then you find yourself in collections. They do offer charity help if you apply and qualify then you can get help paying. As for the amount you listed as a reduced amount from the original amount owed, that is called a settlement. Most hospitals will accept a reduced amount for a bill usually noe more than 20% off the debt. That is what you were offered.

Who is actually the schemer in these situations? The bank who loaned you the money and provided a black and white contract that you agreed to pay them back with interest and agreeing to late fees if you miss your minimum payment or the person who opened the account, spent the money and would not pay it back as agreed. Hmmm and we all wonder why our country is in debt. If you cant afford it then dont get it. Pretty easy. Better than getting mad at someone who just wants the money you agreed to pay them back for helping you out.

These posts puzzle me because all of you with all of this credit card debt chose to seek out a credit card, spent money that you didn't have, knew you were going to be charged interest, knew the penalties if the original agreement was not honored, and are now blaming the company that extended you credit. I know.. it's hard to understand the concept of being asked to pay for something you spent happily. The American dream? No. It's not the companies, or CACI's fault you defaulted on your contract. The company is loosing a percentage of what you owe them when they place it with a company like CACI, and then when help is offered.. more often than not it's met with contempt. Nothing against anyone who has a legitimate hardship and have lost a job or have had extreme medical situations. There are ways to get help and prevent action against you and rebuild your credit. If you actually deal with this so called "evil" place, they may just be able to help you in ways you didn't know about. I am a debt collector, and one time this person on the other end of the phone told me.. " This is America.. I don't have to pay my debt.".. and he was absolutely right. People on average pay about $800.00 more per year because of defaulted accounts. My only thoughts when I hear something like that are.. Thank you for you contribution to society.. and I hope you at least have enough self respect to pay off anyone who gives you credit in the future. Just read the contract and commit to it next time.

Debt collectors are professional skip tracers. Felonies are public record. Pretty easy to see if someone is a felon, that is, if you cant tell by the way they talk and present themselves. In most cases you can. And who wants to steal the identity of someone who is not paying their bills. If you don't pay your bills, your identity is not worth stealing. And it is very easy to dispute fraudulent accounts that are on your credit, and prosecute anyone who is using your identity.

You can pay the original creditor anything you want, and it will be applied to your account, but it wont stop collection efforts unless an agreement has been made. Once you have defaulted on your contract, you are subject to collection efforts. The agency is the place that is reporting to your credit in most cases. Why would you not deal with them?

Daily Horoscope for December 20

Pisces

If you-know-who has been getting on your nerves recently, matters will soon come to a head and force you to take drastic action. As Mars turns tail in your sixth house, you might finally lose your rag with someone at work who's been testing your patience to the limit. Stand your ground if you feel you're being messed about in some way. Clear the air if needs be, but don't create a really nasty atmosphere by throwing an eye-popping tantrum. Take care of any infections.
