On April 19, 1995, at 9:02 AM, in Oklahoma City, a bomb inside of a Ryder moving truck detonated and destroyed it's target, the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building. The blast killed 168 people, including 19 children under the age of 18. There was a daycare center in the lobby of the Federal Building where most of the children's lives were lost. This terrible act was done by only 2 people, Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols. These 2 angry men wanted revenge on the goverment after the Waco incident. A memorial stands on the site of the Federal Building.
