As a married straight man, I couldn't agree more. The law MUST treat us all equally or none of us are safe in our lives and lifestyles. If it is ok to tell any consenting adult Americans who they can or cannot marry, we are one step away from banning religions or anything else you or I might not like.

Think of it this way: one day Muslims will outnumber Christians in America. If we don't have equal protection, then the Muslim minority could come and take our bibles away and forbid church attendance.

Definition of marriage, and marriage laws, are the same for both genders as is public restrooms. Man is equal to man. Woman is equal to woman. Sexuality is aside. Man can marry woman. Woman can marry man. Same sex marriage is the same for heterosexual as it is for homosexual. Heterosexual man can not marry man. Homosexual man can not marry man. Because it`s the definition of marriage.
For a group of people claiming to want equality, you sure ask for a different set of rules to be applied.
