Where is Al Gore's global warming? Oh I forgot, it was a made up political sham to empower the EPA and UN.

Just like how Al Gore invented the internet and Obama built it!

Yep ... The -5 degrees we just experienced here is a lot warmer than the -20 to -30 degree range we used to see here years ago bout every winter.

It seems like I remember snow coming on near the first of November and the ground staying white until March. The depth never got bad, but it sure made fun to travel the roads. Also, we went to school with snow on the ground, and they did not send you home early if it started snowing. The school board looked at it this way, if your bus ran, your ass better be on it or you were marked unexcused. When I hit high school, I usually drove unless it was really bad, then I road the bus. Why risk tearing up my car in the bad weather. Just drive to the busstop, stay nice and warm, then get on a warm bus, The only way travel.

List the YEARS or provide a link.....Nineteen Ninety six was a cold one for sure, but give us some more...not snowfall, but actual temperatures.

We NEVER EVER had -20 to -30 degree ranges we "used to see here years ago,"
ABOUT EVERY WINTER?

You just post crap constantly without anything to back it up.

Lmao...And the global warming "research team" that set out to prove that the antartic was melting got stuck in the tremendously thick ice...and so did the rescue ship...lol..you cant make this stuff up.

"I just can't help wondering what it was that the team of global warming researchers were looking to prove when they ventured into the Antarctic with a ship and got stuck in the ice. As of this writing they are still stuck. I thought global warming was "settled science". If that's the case why venture into the Antarctic? Exactly what is it that they were expected to find? Think about it, if they went any farther they would have come across more ice, snow and miserably cold temperatures. Were they thinking they would find less of it?
Was it a challenge to their hypothesis in that they were so very sure that the globe was warming that they could just take a ship into the a frozen hell hole and not get stuck "due to global warming", come back and say "we just sailed deep into the antarctic and didn't get stuck, see, that's global warming for ya"?
And the daily reports of this unimaginable folly is reported un-ironically to a point of media negligence. The New York Daily News just calls them "researchers" (read here) and makes no mention of climate research. CNN just quotes one of the passengers as a "climate change researcher" with no mention of the ships mission.
They went in search evidence of the world’s melting ice caps, but instead a team of climate scientists have been forced to abandon their mission … because the Antarctic ice is thicker than usual at this time of year.
Thicker than usual? In other words there should have been less ice like in the past, right? In the past when it was colder and the ice caps weren't melting like they are now supposedly.
...The scientists have been stuck aboard the stricken MV Akademik Schokalskiy since Christmas Day, with repeated sea rescue attempts being abandoned as icebreaking ships failed to reach them.
Now that effort has been ditched, with experts admitting the ice is just too thick. Instead the crew have built an icy helipad, with plans afoot to rescue the 74-strong team by helicopter.
I want to know who the "expert" are that "admitted" (under pressure?) that the ice is "too thick". Are they experts in ice? What's that called, iceologists? Are these the same experts who were going to find the melting "ice caps"? Did they actually think they would find anything that resembles anything that they can label "melting" in the antarctic?

The weather channel? hahahaha..You must be a newb in the global warming debate world. Weather channel is a joke. Didnt the founder John Coleman quit out of frustration because he couldnt work around so many liberals liars?

"It is the greatest scam in history. I am amazed, appalled and highly offended by it. Global Warming; It is a SCAM. Some dastardly scientists with environmental and political motives manipulated long term scientific data to create an illusion of rapid global warming. Other scientists of the same environmental whacko type jumped into the circle to support and broaden the “research” to further enhance the totally slanted, bogus global warming claims. Their friends in government steered huge research grants their way to keep the movement going."

Simple science. Water when it freezes expands. Ice at poles melt it wouldn't raise the water level. btw it has melted there before and the sea levels didn't rise. All of you, except Bug are slaves to the media arguing about whatever the media tells you depending on the one you like. Same with political parties. As if one cares more than the other about you. All they care about is their political futures. On a personal note the only thing I can see is Liberals wanting to take your liberties away so it just becomes worse. Like the Republicans give a crap either. Sheep to propaganda equals uninformed and that's where they want you.

While the USA had a cold spell ( all 3 days of them in the middle of winter, wow, imagine that?) many other countries ( you do realize there's over 190 of them?) had record heat. Global warming is just that; GLOBAL. Typical arrogant ( and ignorant) remark made by naysayers that the temporary WEATHER in the USA is the catalyst for the entire planet's annual climate observations.....
