cap and trade will never make it out of the senate. Even if it did the coal producing states have negotiated a way for it not to effect the coal industry. I read an article in the bluefield paper that a virginia rep. had negotiated that coal fired plants would not have to pay for the co2 emissions. which va rep? what are our reps doing about it? Is it in the form of an amendment to the bill or just hot air being blown until the whole package has been passed at the expense of coal mining jobs and the related jobs associated with the coal industry. Facts? just what are the facts we should learn? should we not be at all concerned about the future of west virginia at a time such as this. I just hope someone will take the time to read the whole bill before it is run over us at such a break neck speed.
