Disaster Assistance Tops $5 Million For West Virginia

Less than two weeks after President Obama declared a major disaster for two West Virginia counties, more than $5 million in disaster assistance has been approved for eligible applicants under the Federal Emergency Management Agency's Individuals and Households Program.

There isn't 5 million dollars of anything BUT coal in this freakin' sub-state.
And I doubt any coal was damaged.

I found this article in the Adjusting Today magazine that talks about FEMA assistance. It also highlights the point that FEMA can help again, if a disaster strikes again.
