i got my dog max from pretty penny...and i disagree with all of you people max is very well behaved has no medical issues and when we were there i saw non of the things you describe...your going there to look for bad things thats what youll find...so stop being assholes geez...

We bought a dog from Pretty Penny. It was supposed to be an Australian Terrier. He is a great dog and the best we have ever owned dispositon-wise, but he does not even come close to looking like an Aussie. As a puppy he looked just like the ones in the Australian Terrier handbooks, but as he grew older it all changed. We are not professional dog buyers, a pro would not have dealt with Pretty Penny, but our dog was really misrepresented to us. I can not allow myself to think about the Pretty Penny Kennel, it is a very sad operation in all ways.

If everyone would stop buying from these puppy mills they would go out of business, rescue from a kill shelter, dogs of all ages are put to sleep, puppies too...

I bought a dog from them a scottie took him to the vet right away he checked out fine, the vet in kiel told me all the puppies are AKC from there and they have been breeding good quality dogs for 45 years, I tried to go to the pound 7 times all they had were large old dogs and tons of cats thats not what I was looking for I wanted a puppy to grow with my family.

PLEASE SEE THE HORRIBLE PICTURES OF THESE DOGS AND WHERE THEY ARE KEPT! THEY CAN HARDLY TURN IN THEIR CAGES AND IT IS FILTHY!
ALL THE DOGS ARE KEPT OUTSIDE IN ALL OF THE ELEMENTS!
THEY FREEZE WHEN IT IS WINTER AND IN THE SUMMER THEY ARE LEFT IN THEIR HOT WIRE CAGES!

I bought my Schipperke, Niko, from Pretty Penny Farm in 2003. He is the best dog ever! He has an awesome personality and was in great health when I got him and still is! Gerald doesn't abuse animals.

I got two Schipperkes from Pretty Penny and they are excellent with children and one lives with grandma since her dog passed. Beautiful dogs there!

My family and I camp at long lake every summer and Pretty Penny is on the way. We have not had the opportunity to purchase a dog from Mr. Schulz, but when we can afford an AKC certified dog, we WILL go to Pretty Penny. We stop in every summer, obviously unannounced, and have NEVER seen the dogs in distress. All the dogs, including the bitches and sires are well feed, excersised and treated with kindness and love. I think its awsome that this man has found his calling in his own backyard and highly recommend Mr. Schultz's dogs to anyone looking for a wonderful pet.
