"And Democrats have hit upon a new sales pitch: To make the cost of the bill smaller, they need to make government's role bigger."

since when has the government EVER run anything that made costs go down?

the answer to lowering health care is tort reform. limit malpractice lawsuits.

also, quit granting ILLEGAL immigrants the right to illegally usurp American's rights to lower health care costs. quit granting them free health care at the expense of those who're actually PAYING for it.

the answer is NOT bigger gov., but rather smaller gov.

It would be nice to pay for what is already on the books before adding billions more for health care.

Or priorize health care and cut other spending the amount that health care would cost for a zero net outlay.

Yes, the government creates a Train-Wreck economy by scaring everyone so much that they are able to pass an "Economic Stimulus" that does nothing but drive the country deeper into debt and sets up The Government Takeover of everything from Health Care to Banking to a tax on the air that we breathe AKA Cap-And-Trade.

The dems need to have the worst in everything to scare as they are not people of ideas or greatness.

They are the people of the lie and defeat.

Just like the Bolsheviks took the Romanovs into the basement and executed them, Marxist reform is indeed uplifting -- the sewage. Soon to be in warm bowls and ladled out to a hungry and abused population.

Daily Horoscope for January 2

Scorpio

Something about your personality or appearance is drawing a lot of attention today, Scorpio. People insist on watching when you'd rather that they minded their own business. Your stubborn streak at a time when flexibility would be easier. Be kind to those with long memories, especially if you think you might run into them again at some point in your life. If you can't think of anything nice to say, don't say anything at all.
