As an oncologist treating cancer patients, I am faced with the impacts of obesity every day and feel compelled to address some of the poor information that has been circulating since the attorney general first released his report calling for a penny an ounce excise tax on sugar sweetened beverages .
Does taking a McDonalds value meal and changing the coke to a water make it healthy???
How about if we limit food stamps to purchasing only whole foods instead of taxing everyone on 1% of the problem...
