Romney's idea is to privatize everything from Social Security to the VA. People may not be happy when those insurance companies are owned by outside sources to make everything cheaper to operate while keeping profits high. Think Walmart Health Care for Medicare and the VA. What's a little sheet rock in your aspirin.
Romney's profits via flipping:*We were just fired," Randy Johnson, a former worker and union officer at the Marion plant, recalled in a telephone interview. "They came in and said,'You're all fired. If you want to work for us, here's an application.' We had insurance until the end of the week. That was it. It was brutal." [Los Angeles Times, 12/16/07]
Romney& Bain Capitol has a long history of scavenging companies ready for bankruptcy making profits at the expense of US workers jobs. Meanwhile workers, schools and communities that depended on those jobs are left to fend for themsleves. They will also get ridiculed if they have to swallow their pride and ask for food assistance or help with paying for heart medications.
Most recently is the 107 US employees at Illinois Sensata plant who had to train Chinese workers for their jobs that were being outsourced to China. The US flag was taken down so as to not offend the Chinese workers thanks to Bain Capitol selling out the US and US workers for profit.
When US companies can pay people in China to work for .99 -$2.37 an hour, 8-12 hours and day 7 days a week just how long do you think American factories will stay in America or how long before minimum wage will start dropping?*Bain and Sensata executives did not have a lot of time to talk about the 170 workers being terminated at the Freeport plant. The executives have had more pressing issues, such as setting up 12 Sensata/Bain capital funds “organized under the laws of the Cayman Islands” so as to avoid paying taxes.
Workers no longer have rights to protest, beg or plead to keep their jobs. Romney wouldn't hear them at the RNC. It's do as you're told or hit the streets even if you have been a loyal employee for 33 years.
* American Pad & Paper: Bain invested $5 million in the small paper company in 1992, and reportedly collected $100 million in dividends on that investment. AMPAD went bankrupt in 2000, laying off 385 employees.
* Dade Behring: Bain Capital invested $415 million in a leveraged buyout in 1994, borrowed an additional $421 million, and ultimately walked away with $1.78 billion. Dade filed for bankruptcy in 2002, and 2,000 workers lost their jobs.
* DDI Corporation: Bain Capital reportedly invested $46.3 million in 1997, reaping $85.5 million in profits and an additional $10 million in management fees. When the company later went bankrupt, 2,100 workers were laid off.
* GS International: In a somewhat less profitable transaction, Bain Capital invested $60 million in 1993 and received $65 million in dividends. This company, too, went bankrupt in 2002, and 750 workers lost their jobs.
* Stage Stores: Bain invested $5 million to purchase the company and took it public in the mid-’90s, reaping $100 million from stock offerings. Stage filed for bankruptcy in 2000, and 5,795 workers reportedly were laid off.
If you expect changes if Romney gets elected say hello to the crash of 2008 ALL OVER AGAIN. Have Romnesia and forgot what that looks like? It's this:loosing 800,000 jobs a month like rats leaving a sinking ship.

The key is Romney is going to reduce restictions on business. The coal industry getting back up to speed alone will be a monumental kick to the economy.
Running Bain successfully requires different decisions than a president assisting the American business machine would make. He is smart in business and knows how to be a success. Stepping in and making the Olympics successful was proof positive he is versatile in making successful financial decisions.

Are you aware that Mitt Romney used federal funds, to save the Olympics? That he still own's $8,000,000 in Bain Capital stock, that he founded it and trained it's management, and this is what they are capable of.. www.bainport.com ...In Mitt's recently released 2011 tax returns, it is disclosed, he moved $700,000 in Sensata stock into his nonprofit, for a fat taxbreak.....that's how he rolls....

Point (1.)Coal can not compete with lower priced Natural Gas. To compete coal companies will have to lay off underground minors and switch to Mountain Top Removal which only requires 10% of regular mining employees but devastates mountain tops, rivers and streams.(2.)Romney used taxpayer dollars for the 2002 Salt Lake Winter Games. More taxpayer dollars were used at Salt Lake than all of the previous U.S.hosted Olympics combined; a heart stopping $1.3 billion dollars. The total cost of the SLC Olympics was around $1.9 billion. That means taxpayers footed about 68% of the bill.(Using tax dollars not for the Olympic Events but to rebuild the infrastructure of the Mormon mecca. Surprised?)
2002 games in Utah- 1.3 billion
1984 games in L.A.- only received $75 million
1996 games in Atlanta - only received $609 million.
Romney used $1.3 billion taxpayer dollars appropriated for Olympic security after 9-11 for:
$161 Million for safety and security services
$30 million for parking lots,
$2 million for sewer systems
$33,000 for an Olympic horse adoption program. <<(wth)
John McCain called this a "ripoff of the taxpayers" and "an incredible pork-barrel project for Salt Lake City" was "outrageous" and "a national disgrace. "This figure [$1.3 billion] is breathtaking. The American taxpayer is being shaken down to the tune of nearly a billion-and-a-half dollars for Salt Lake City to host the Winter Olympics. No one would dispute that the federal government should provide whatever support necessary to ensure that the Games are safe for everyone. However, the American taxpayer should not be burdened with building up the basic infrastructure necessary to a city to be able to pull off hosting the Olympic Games."
Romney even bragged in a 2002 debate about the “record amount of money” he received from taxpayers.“That’s the same thing I’ll do as governor of Massachusetts,” he said.“Get more money from the federal government.”
