lol, I do,but im not too important in a hurry were I wouldnt wait for a man to do his job, my ony problem is he hit a guy and the guy wasnt swollowing his punk butt teeth
I don't at all agree with what the tow truck driver did. He was wrong--no matter how the so called punks acted--short of physical threat! Except to protect yourself or someone else, there is no justice in violence. Yeah maybe those people did block him and/run off at the mouth. But to me, that does not justify the tow truck driver approaching in a physically threatening manner and then punching someone. The tow truck driver was wrong and broke the law. Also, he could have been shot dead if the riders had had a gun.

Anyone who wants to get even with a tow driver can just write down the DOT number and report it to the federal government anytime they see bald tires, hear leaking exhaust, see lights out loose wire etc etc.

Some other things you need to know...
It is illegal for a tow truck driver to use a cell phone unless the vehicle is PARKED. It can be a 10,000 dollar fine for the owner of the vehicle.

All vehicles on a rollback must be tied down in 4 places and the winch can not be one of them.(no drivers follow this unless they are going long distances)

All drivers must have a valid medical card.( lots of 300 pound people have blood pressure issues etc?)

If people complained to the city council about the flagrant violations and insisted that the police enforce the laws as is their duty then the streets would be safer and the tow companies would realize that they don't have so much leverage.

So when you get your car umpounded take a good look at the trucks and see if you see hydraulic leaks, frayed cables or straps, cracked windshileds, Emergency brakes that don't seem to hold. Basicaly anything that is "rigged" is illegal and the fines run into the thousands.

and to the idiot that says bad things would happen if you went on strike... only the a-holes would go on strike, the honest guys don't need to strike and would be happy to handle the new business

Collier's are a bunch of tools as a rule. Charlottesville Wrecker is the only quality outfit in town and even that has taken a bit of a slide in the last couple of years. Lethal was a total abomination.

If you read the article it never says that Josh had the crowbar...it says the other driver did...Everybody should really shut their mouths about things they dont know what really happened. Everybody wants to complain about getting towed and it is never the car owners fault. But really people if you would take a second and read signs or follow instructions then you would'nt get towed. And what about the people who run up on the tow guys screaming, yelling, jumping in between the cars etc is that ok? They are doing their job because people dont want to pay or cant follow directions ...hmmm just a thought ....People need to take responsiablity for their actions and stop blaming everybody else for their own troubles. If it the signs say "NO PARKING" OR "PAID PARKING ONLY" THEN THAT IS WHAT IT MEANS WHY CHANCE IT...

I have seen some very bad behavior from tow truck drivers over the years. They can be quite confrontational and arrogant-not to mention downright rude. I saw one this weekend wearing a jacket with POLICE printed on the back.

This is just wishful thinking but i hope these people file a lawsuit against colliers, those people are all criminals that run an extremely shady business. They only accept cash (im sure to evade taxes) and treat people like trash. How hard is it to run a tow truck company? I know it doesnt require a masters because their staff looks like they barely graduated middle school.

The tow company who employee.s such a thug should have their business license suspended. I suggest the guy who assaulted the victim have his criminal record checked. He didn't just decide to assault someone...he has did it before...a nasty bully.
CHECK HIS CRIMINAL RECORD and if that shows a history, sue the tow company
Remember...when all else fails, SUE SUE SUE SUE.

For all of you that "read" this article, it clearly states that driver one had the the crowbar; Josh is listed as driver two. If you are going to make comments, at least get the facts straight.
Josh is physically capable of squatting a small vehicle! If he wanted to hurt one of these kids ---HE COULD HAVE.
THANK YOU! If all these dummies out there would read or even listen to the story if they can't read, would know that Driver #1 had the crowbar. Johnson didn't, nor would he need one, airgot, the right hook to the jaw of the punjab in the backseat!

Well, just so we know, it was OK since he didn't have the crow bar. Share family genes much?
