Racism and the American Right

May 20, 2013 | Posted by: roboblogger | Full story: OpEdNews

Racism has been a consistent thread weaving through the American Right from the early days when Anti-Federalists battled against the U.S. Constitution to the present when hysterical Tea Partiers denounce the first African-American president.

No, you can openly express your views and disappointments of President Obama. There is also blatant racial comments made about him also. Befor the election there was comments made about "putting white back in White House". Then there was the lovely displays made by people after the RNC convention last year when people hung empty chairs in trees. It didn't take a genius to see what they were implying.

It isn't surprising that a party which supports a media station blatantly using anti white racial slurs has an absolute monopoly in political racism...

It would be funny if Democrats didn't get away with their hypocrisy.

Before the infamous "signs", the lies about the Tea party spitting on a black representative and all the investigations of "racism" into the grassroots group by the NAACP and "anti racist" groups, the Tea party was "too white"; as if 100 white votes and citizens aren't as valid as 50 black and 50 latino votes and citizens.

If you want to get into a contest of who can post the most links exemplifying racism in the opposing party then be my guest, not only will I easily win that contest, I will outright destroy you and your party's supposed strong stance on discrimination and racism at the same time.

Your entire platform is formulated on bigotry against white Southerners, white rural dwellers, white Christian congregations and increasingly white people period, it is an absolute farce for Democrats to even dare talk about racism on the right.

I am not covering any racism. I wasn't not a fan of Bush, but I respected him as a person and his position. Something that many in the GOP don't have the same courtesy of doing. I didn't have a need to mis-spell his last name just for the fun of it. There wasn't democrats painting Bush as "other" to feed into their hatred.

From reading your abysmal syntax and grammar, it would seem that you're lucky to spell much of anything correctly.

If you are so blind to believe that democrats didn't paint Bush as everything from a Nazi to the antichrist, then you are beyond reasoning with.

You can destroy away. But you also can't deny the level of hatred of Obama has alot to do with the color of his skin. Racism toward anyone is sickening. The GOP has spent a great deal of effort portraying him as "other" and should be feared. From the "birthers" to labeling him as "the food stamp president".

The 47% thing didn't really work for Romney, but by all means keep trying it. Let me know how it works out of you. Too funny.
