Mr. President threatens the use of violence, by men with guns, if someone should think about "disrespecting" his daughters.
Do you cry out of frustration because you can only lower the flag to half-mast and not dance upon it in victory?
Do you cry because you provide protection, via firearms, for your own family yet you deny those same effective principles of protection to other families around this country?
Do you cry in joy because once again you can use a crisis to attempt to govern by unconstitutional legislation?
Mr. President, I do not believe your tears are genuine. For you make veiled threats to your daughters potential suitors by proclaiming the men, which are with them 24/7, have guns, but you promote legislation and public opinion that prevent the common man from doing the same, or protecting their families with a firearm. Oh, these common folk teachers, doctors, janitors, and parents, do not have the Secret Service agents at their side, but they could have the opportunity to purchase the GREAT equalizer- a firearm and get some training; but you and your kind will tie their hands with legislation- why do you cry?
So, what do you cry for Mr. President?
RIP Mike N Amber

The President wants to take this country to a Rwandan status where over 500,000 people could be killed in 100 days using only machete's.

Seems like you and the President are the only people worthy of protecting their family with a firearm.

Last time I checked the President did not kill anyone, this was a white man that lost it just like other mass shootings in America, by the way he is not the only one supporting this gun law a lot of Democrats and Republicans are also.

yes you did not put race into the comment but tell me what do u want or think the president should have done? He didn't cause the event nor could he have stopped it as the president regardless who it is would have to say a speech by the way which was probably not written personally. But I don't think by any stretch of imagination can he say hey no guns or motorcade guys I don't need it! He is the president it's one of them come with the job things. An me personally I think he needs protection more than other presidents not because he is a terrible but for other obvious reasons I'm just saying!

I do not know what "obvious" reasons you are speaking of. The fact of the matter, regardless of his race (which now I realize you are "obviously" referring to) his life or the life or RESPECT of his family IS NOT more valuable than mine or yours; or our families. Statistically, you and I and, our families in the Piedmont VA area are more likely to be robbed, threatened, or murdered by some slime when we go to the local convenience store, gas station, or the fast food restaurant. All I want is equality. What's good for a man is good for a woman; whatís good for a Black man, President or not, is good for any other race. If firearms are an acceptable tool of defense for the President, then I want that same option also, if I choose, for my family and/or friends. Isnít that simple enough? It is easy for Mr. Obama, or any politician, to call for firearm restrictions that leave us defenseless, because they and their families are not bound by those laws. A recent Illinois Senator, Donne Trotter, who runs on an anti-firearm platform- for people like me and you, was recently caught trying to smuggle a gun onto a plane. This hypocrisy from the President and any other official must stop.

From the article:

"....Hint #1: They didnít belong to the NRA. They donít fit the stereotype of the ďred-neckĒ gun owner.

Check it out Ö

Ft Hood: Registered Democrat/Muslim.
Columbine: Too young to vote; both families were registered Democrats and progressive liberals.
Virginia Tech: Wrote hate mail to President Bush and to his staff.
Colorado Theater: Registered Democrat; staff worker on the Obama campaign; Occupy Wall Street participant; progressive liberal.
Connecticut School Shooter: Registered Democrat; hated Christians.

Common thread is that all of these shooters were progressive liberal Democrats..."

I am prochoice. If these legislators were concerned about the lives of innocent children and people they would rally the people to prevent abortion on demand (millions of dead), rally the people to prevent drunk driving (50k a year) and rally the people to prevent risky and unhealthy lifestyle choices.
Purely hypocrisy from Mr. Obama and nothing but a ruse to trick and disarm the US.
Free speech isnít about telling bedtime stories and the right to bear arms isnít about target practice or hunting.
