If you live in the city, look in your pocket.

Gads! No. I'm a militant Conservative. I figured that's where it was coming from - but had to throw it out there ...

I was surprised to learn that Charlottesville has four sister city relationships. Talk about a waste of our tax dollars.

What a great opportunity for all the sister cities of Winneba, Ghana to compare notes on their "Build a library for Winneba!" program.(At least three.)
Seriously, I find this sort of thing to be an astonishing waste of taxpayers' money - but not at all surprising. As long as Charlottesville continues to elect a liberal City Clowncil, this will be the norm.

Here's an idea that should appeal to libtards; take the money spent on this boondoggle travel and use it for additional subsidies to the already ridiculously subsidized rent of our local whiny freeloaders. Why not? You seem to think that money grows on tofu bushes already.

Yes it is shameful that the libs in this town copy everything their leader does, they can't have a original thought, their ideology won't let them.

SARA, which I'm sure serves many Cville women, is loosing funding but we pay for this nonsense to go on. Its like the council members do things to add glory to their memoirs rather than act in the public behalf, heaven forbid. In Norris' case it yealded him a sweetheart deal on a house and a high price job. Tell me politicians don't have alterior motives.

Of course, sez you! According to the new Democrat agenda, sex without consent is fine for the fearless leaders of Charlottesville and Albemarle. No need for them to fund SARA under the new normal.

Nice of you to bring the Norris house deal up. It's been long forgotten by the talking heads on local television, provided they ever had the huevos to even run a story on such a scandal.
