Virginia's same-sex marriage tax ruling draws criticism
Virginia's recent ruling that legally married same-sex Virginia couples can't file joint state tax returns has drawn rebuke from the American Civil Liberties Union of Virginia, which separately is challenging the state's ban on gay marriage.

This state is so backwards. Am amazed at how we believe we can treat people we disagree with. Such disrespect.
